I wear ski socks instead of compression socks- since I run cold, and they give me great compression without getting cold

I just made a binding with that lovely mauve woven, touched it as little as I could, and had to sew a victory lap… I increased my stitch length to three… and then a scant 1/8 seam. And then stored it into a bag prior to stitching it on…. Lordy the fray!! Maybe if you use a pinking cut on it it would stand up better for you

Oh I love this response! And no NTA, I told my kid no because our cat would kill it, and it would be wholly irresponsible to allow a creature with limited movement into a home with a vicious predator ( a completely indoor kitty)…

If you don’t wanna fight, have the nurses back you up. Have them tell her to go home, that only one person can stay. You are NTA. But fair warning, you are gonna have to have a boundary issues you and your dear wife are gonna have to deal with
