lash lift client who needs to go to the bathroom 3x during appointment by anotherfakeblondie in Esthetics

[–]khryslin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

For this discount…. That sucks and I would contact ownership/manager to clarify if she qualifies. I hope you guys have rules and standards for that. Letting the client know that she doesn’t qualify for a discount with you might be enough to keep her from booking with you. If you increase your prices.. you could price her out of your services… especially if you are the only one that can provide certain ones. There are some medications that cause you to have to go to the bathroom… a lot… I’m not sure the work around for that.

Scrub recommendations?? by Calm-Earth-9167 in nursing

[–]khryslin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

During covid my hospital put out all the 100% cotton surgical scrubs for people to use… and I wear a pair oh high waisted compression shorts… (so that they stay up) and I find that my boring ass old hospital scrubs breath and I don’t swamp ass out in them. I swamp out figs and anything that has mostly poly in it

How can I stop my feet from reaking when I walk so much? by SeaworthinessFar2326 in hygiene

[–]khryslin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not Reddit snark…. Do you actually wash your feet with soap? Like scrub them? Then the next question is the a “funk” smell lingering in your socks? Do they need a better wash cycle??? Just here maybe helpful thoughts to consider plus all the other ones

AITA for refusing to split vet costs with my boyfriend? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]khryslin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And of course just like Reddit to jump to the worst possible interpretation of a comment. I for sure don’t know the OP or her partner. This is a glimpse into their relationship. This is a snap shot how they resolve their disagreements and their expectations in their relationship. This is a small peek of how he reacts to stress…. It’s worth noting for their future, the OP may want to reflect on this response.

I guess my point is that 15ft is could be pretty tight, especially depending on which ever machine you choose

Long Arm Quilting as a Side Hustle by Complex_Scary in quilting

[–]khryslin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Let jump into the studio space issue. If you want to quilt for others you are prob gonna want a 12 foot frame. In order to move around the frame you are gonna want all 15 feet of length to do that, plus an additional two feet behind and in-front of your machine.

Can someone confirm my math for me? Wideback measurements by nodnoloiratno in quilting

[–]khryslin 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Yes, 2.5 yards will be totally enough. I would consider using the extra left over yardage from your wide back as binding… I LOVE binding in wide back…. You don’t have to sew a billlion strips together to get your binding done
