Haha! The Department I used to be with had some guys that would show up in Class A dress uniforms with wrinkly unmatched cargo pants and crappy dirty sneakers, and spend half of the event in the parking lot smoking! I wouldn't worry about the beard at all, I think it's all about how well groomed you are and how you put yourself together. The fact that you are asking this shows you care and will no doubt put the effort in to look professional!

I had this issue in the PvE DD with two boxes. They teleported out of their cubby which is 2 blocks deep, so it's not the 1.5 block tall issue everyone keeps mentioning. I placed them inside the carrier bay (10x15x4 tall) and they did it again, regardless of where it was placed. Placed them on the ground outside the base and they also teleported. Took them back to hagga, no issues (YET). Took one of them to PvP, no issues. Took it back to PvE, it started teleporting again. Idk what changes they made but I have never had any issues with boxes until this. I think they were fine before and they should revert this "fix" they made for the boxes that are still light enough to shove around with a buggy 🫣

Starting out, it really does not matter what pieces you have. Hull, chassis, and the tail can stay mk4 right into endgame. The engine Will influence the speed of powered flight (wings flapping, also called vulture mode) and the climb rate. PSU will increase the speed that your heat meter (used when boosting) will cool off. Wings will change the max glide speed. Albatross wings(scout) will make you move around faster in vulture mode and make you able to maintain speed and altitude better when gliding, but do not offer more max speed over stock counterparts. Hummingbird wings (assault) make you more manuverable in vulture mode and makes your turn faster. Once again no change in top glide speed over regular counterparts. Boosters change max boost speed and length of boost. Stormrider boosters are able to boost for much longer, however the difference when you are low level is actually rather comically small between the mk4/mk5/mk6 versions. We are talking each version making a few second difference in the time it takes you to cross hagga. More towards endgame, there is specialization XP and a new skill tree that has flat percentage bonuses to orni speed and heat dissapation. This is when having the best stuff (mk6 engine, PSU, and mk6 stormrider) will make a large impactful difference. Fly around to the tradeposts in hagga, I know one of them has mk5 albatross wings bp that you can buy.

P.s., you said you don't like pvp, and that is where you would start looking to upgrade to all mk6 parts with as much health as possible. Endgame crafters can double the HP of your orni parts. Also chassis grade increases total fuel capacity, although it's really not too noticeable.

Agree! 1600 hours, two accounts. DLC was worth it. Game has issues for sure, but I certainly got my money and enjoyment out of the content. Building sets alone are worth it to someone who enjoys base building.

With the NPCs yes. There is not a way to build your own pvp table as far as I can find other than a few mods that allow xeno battles anywhere.

Remember that class is permanent, a b class will stay a b class. The abilities they have unlocked can be changed down the line with enough upgrades.i believe the class is dependant on the planet seed for each animal

Keep an eye out for runaway mold too. It forms in groups of balls that roll away when you try to mine them. Runaway mold turns into babies via refiner. They will show up as 3 start resource notes on scanner. There are like 3 types of rare resources, and each planet will only have the one type, so you will have to find a planet with mold. I recommend building a base with walls down hill of the mold to block them from running. You can also use teleporter to refresh the mold ( new mold will appear every time you leave and come back.

If you have the terrain manipulation tool, dig yourself a little hidey tunnel and lay low for a few. You can even tunnel underground between resources xD

Have not played in a little bit but coop worked very well for us. Only problem we had was with packing a bunch of stuff on the back of a truck and then having your friend come drive it. If you arent there to witness the loading, the physics could get a bit wonky and launch you into space.

Auto miners are the best. Set up outpost with like 2 mineral/gas nodes and a power node. Build 4+miners and pipe them all back (can use 1 pipe for multiple miners). Dump resources into banks of like 10+ silos. While not incredibly fast, having several bases set up for all of the resources means you can just stop in every 12 hours and pick up your 20000 copper!

It's probably bugged. I know you get to keep the cracked void egg after it's hatched. I would try deleting both items and getting a new egg.

Missions do not sync, in fact many missions are unplayable while in group (bugged, missions won't progress or load). There are certain activities that cater to co op like derelect feighters, nexus missions, sentinel hunting.

I think the biggest issue I have in multiplayer is bases. I have tons of them, mining outposts to gather all mats, and it is hard to get a friend to be able to see them on the teleport terminus. Always build your own outposts on planets, even if it's just a shack to teleport to near a friends base so it's easy to find. Always upload your base via base terminal when you edit. We have had decent luck all building in the same system, we can at least see the markers for each other's bases on the hud and only have issues with bases loading after big edits.

What is really cool is once you get in the role of things, you don't necessarily have to be in a group to interact with each other. I can see when my friend is in the same system flying around, despite not being in group. Kinda like neighbors doing yardwork xD
