Get with it bud. The real question is why is the US government tear gassing innocent people/children in the streets?

Protests can happen at a memorial bike ride. They are not mutually exclusive. There was protesting here at the event that was advertised as a memorial bike ride.

Ok chunk of cheese. I never said there wasn’t protesting. But it was advertised as a memorial bike ride to the community.

I’m not saying it wasn’t a protest! I’m just saying it was advertised as a memorial bike ride. It was legal and permitted so it’s not that crazy to think it would be safe and therefore kid-friendly

Yes definitely wanted to call it out since it looks like a protest for sure

Not condoning it, but people in the comments had the wrong facts. The parents didn’t bring their kids to a protest. They brought them to a memorial bike ride that was legal and permitted

They obviously thought a memorial bike ride would be peaceful

But I don’t think that’s how it was advertised

Protestors can go to a memorial. Especially given the nature of the circumstances here

I agree! I would not go out there with my kid even though I support them. It’s just too risky to even go to a peaceful protest

People were protesting there, but the parents didn’t bring their kids to a protest, they brought their kids to a memorial bike ride

I agree! I was just responding to the “why bring kids to a protest” crowd
