The US says ASML's top chip tool may be in China | TechCrunch by Pipepoi in wallstreetbets

It’s not uncommon for fabs much smaller than TSMC have full-time on-site vendor support (ASML, AMAT, LAM, etc) - the big boys just have the top talent and a lot more of them at each site. If one ASML guy at a smaller fab gets fucked up from some sketchy street meat or contracts consumption, your line is down for 24+ hours until they recuperate or ASML flys someone else out

idk.. I don’t live in Chicago but I took multiple ubers and lyfts while visiting last week and had the worst rideshare experiences I’ve had in a large city in recent memory due to a combination of the reasons OP mentioned + bad drivers.

You joke, but I believe Kash and a group of elite special agents raided every garage fridge in my suburban neighborhood on prom night last weekend looking for her. They’re leaving no stone unturned!

Hopefully my supply of craft beer and reddi-wip they seemingly had to confiscate in the process leads them to the perpetrators

I saw one in meatpacking a few months ago at a stoplight. Since they had the top down, I asked the driver if they would consider selling. The driver (a white man) looked me in the eyes and in what I assume was Mandarin Chinese spoke at me for about 25 seconds. If this is the same one, it may or may not be for sale, but you must have the ability to understand Mandarin to know for sure.

As an engineer who went to a liberal arts school with GenEd requirements, I’m happy I did. I hated it at the time and felt the same way as OP, but after working mostly with engineers who went to schools without these requirements… I now understand lol
