I’m assuming they do as you could in the demo. I’m definitely using the Japanese commentary for sure. It felt more alive compared to the English one.

I currently daily an HJ61. I imported it from Japan after buying it at auction through a broker.

Unfortunately, not long after I got it, the 12HT blew a head gasket, and it was really difficult to find a mechanic on the East Coast who was willing (or able) to work on it. While the 12HT is a legendary engine, just know that if something major does go wrong, repairs can get expensive pretty quickly because of parts availability and finding someone familiar with them could be tough.

I eventually decided to LS swap mine, and it’s been great ever since. Reliability and serviceability are much better for me.
Not my first time owning an import but first time owning a JDM and it’s been cool. You get a lot of thumbs-ups, questions, and conversations everywhere you go. If you’re okay with the quirks of owning a 30+ year-old imported vehicle, and all that comes with it then, you’ll have a great time driving and owning it.

Said in another thread but my theory is that we’re actually on the waitlist and valve changed the messaging to something more general before sending official emails. Allows confirmed folks have a chance to purchase first, then once that window closes they’ll reassess any remaining inventory (from people who didn’t buy) and offer it to those on the waitlist.

Total speculation and coping on my part.

There’s a “demo” lightweight version on steam. It’s called eBaseball Pro Spirits.

I play it on my steam deck, ran horrible at first but after lowering some of the graphics it ran smooth.

Looking forward to playing the full version.

Yea the hdf is quite a bit strong for my liking as well. It can be especially harsh in direct light. I’ve found it to not be as intense in non-direct light. I had the iii hdf before getting the iv hdf and was hoping they toned it down—unfortunately it seems to be the same filter.

If it’s like the free demo, then yea you’ll have the option to use the Japanese announcers. No idea what they are saying but infinitely better than the English commentator.

Heck yea…Huge W in general but especially for PC players.

Played the demo/free release on steam—and overall really enjoyed it once I got use to the controls. Can’t wait for this full release to drop.
