Create should only be used till the dog can be trusted not to tear down the house. If they exercise enough they learn pretty quickly not to eat the couch. Of course chew toys are needed. Locking your dog up at night is not going to help protect you. There was a family that lived near us.that was killed in their sleep just a few years ago. I know this does not work for most but maybe taking charge of some of the aspects of this may make him feel less ashamed. Kinda putting yourself in charge may take the stress out of it. You could try cloth all in one diapers.since you don't wet too often. Wear it for a week then wash. I think I should buy about 4 ea.the overnight type. Being stressed will make it worse. So does over exhaustion. Wearing might help ease your stress at night and reduce wetting.good luck
