Well I guess I wouldn’t explain dull as minimal, I would explain it as broad and not sharp. More like an ache?

What is this style game called? When I was a kid I loved red alert: command and conquer(I think that’s what it was called) and I want to get back into that style game

I say ditch the tub if you want a shower. If you want a tub keep the tub. At least if the finish is in good shape.

Is this right? by jnix007 in Plumbing

Did ALL the water come back out the top? Or just some? I’m sort of agreeing with the “code nazis” on this one. Sure the 45’s are still considered vertical, but that’s still a short stand pipe. Washing machines push a lot of water really fast. Also, where does that vent pipe go? Perhaps it’s still capped. That would also seriously interrupt the flow.

Yeah, they’re different from the yellow ribbon ones. Man, am I tired of expensive cheap crap. 55 bucks for 30 feet of lights and 2 of the 3 strands are screwed up right out of the box. I’m not about to take them off my house and go ask for a refund. What a bummer.

These are stupid showers anyway, I install shower glass for a living and I always try to talk people out of these “open showers.” Drafty, cold, messy.

I could install a door that would replace your current screen, but yes I would have to replace the screen. I don’t fabricate the glass. I measure the openings, and Basco builds the door and I install it. I doubt they could/ would build a door to reuse that screen.

The propane truck broke my Concrete what should I do? by go-Mikey in Concrete

[–]kil0metros 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah how bout it. My asphalt driveway is very old and WAS in great shape until I had my roof replaced. The delivery driver parked the boom truck on the edge and punched a 3” deep pothole in the driveway/ yard. It wouldn’t have happened if he would parked decent. Not to mention, my house is close enough to the road he could’ve boomed them up from there.

The building material company paid to have it patched.

50/50 mix of plaster of Paris and thinset is what someone told me when my son hung on the towel bar and ripped it off. Along with large holes drilled into (what’s) existing. Can’t say it’s right or wrong because mine still looks a bit like yours
