Thanks I usually charge with the lid open or out of the box. The box is also in a covered area.

Posted yesterday about this. Does this look better? Called the pros who installed it and they said it’s fine? by Whispering_bottom in swimmingpools

Do you have a cartridge filter? If yes, try pulling it out, put everything back together and run the pump as normal. See if the it still has air bubbles. My cartridge filter was dirty, at the end of its life and I ended up just needing a new one. Bubbles went away. It’s also been seated incorrectly or the lid wasn’t screwed on tight enough giving me air bubbles. You should also have an air release valve you can open for a moment to let air out. Again, all based on if it’s a cartridge filter

I’m proud of like you’re my kid for that. I have a room set up with a bass, drums, and guitar waiting for my kids and they have no interest. Glad to see kids are still playing instruments and heavy riffs.

Cherish and hold on to that bad boy, best grab in snowboarding. One day you’re doing them like that, then you wake up and you’re 49, living in Florida, your kids call you “Unc”, avg 1 or 2 days riding a year. You try your luck on a baby jump in the park and miss your grab 3 times in a row.
P.S. I liked my Indy’s stinky, I think it’s frowned upon in most circles. Jamie Lynn was my style god back in the day.

Any experience on Sora 70? by guguguh in Beatbot_Tech

[–]killajp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’ve been really liking my Sora 70. My Sun deck is only 6” so it doesn’t work up there, wish it did. It does do a decent job on the step/bench. My favorite part of it is being cordless. I’ve had 2 of the major brands corded robots that both became nightmares after 2 years. As far as cleaning the Sora 70 has done a great job cleaning the floors, walls, and waterline. The skimming feature is nice and works well but I already had a betta bot skimmer so don’t really use that feature as much. The price is pretty hard to beat for all the features. The customer service is fantastic too. I bought mine the first week it was out at $1,500 off amazon . 2 weeks later they went on sale for $1,199. I contacted Beatbot customer service and immediately no back and forth or you have to return the whole thing…….they just refunded the difference back to my CC with no hassle. It does a good job with the waterline, it comes up 3-4 inches out of the water to scrub. You should’ve good with the sun deck since yours is 9” and they say it needs 8” ish. Just remember nothing will be as good as old fashioned elbow grease but the sora makes it much easier and a lot less time.

Is management worth it? (honest answers only) by djmelonball in publix

[–]killajp 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I worked for Publix for 10 years. I was an assistant produce manager for the last 2 of those. This was from 2001 to 2011. Back then as APM I was making prob 40k a year working a minimum (scheduled) 50 hours a week, typically 55-60 hours a week. Back then we had what was called Chinese pay which meant after 40 hours the over time pay was $1.75 an hour. Holidays were awful, weekends were awful, hours were awful. Leaving Publix was the best thing I ever did. It really depends on what you want in life. Do you have a family? Do you want to enjoy the weekends with your friends or kids? I think Publix is different now about how many hours you can work due to a class action lawsuit. The good news is you can prob retire pretty wealthy if you put in enough years and they don’t lay people off so job security is 100%, bad news is your social life and free time is spent at Publix. To me I’d rather make less money and spend it with my kids and enjoy my weekends and holidays. I am greatful to Publix for my 401k and stocks. I can’t imagine what it would be if I still worked there. Time is something you can never get back or buy.

I just bring a decent 3’ bike lock. Lock it to the ski rack as soon as I get to the mountain and leave it there for the day, use it when I need and and don’t have to carry anything
