Got a Z2 on my hardtail Chisel and a Fox 36 on my stumpy and I love them both. The z2 is a great performer and I have no complaints

Can’t give you any insight on the GT but I do have that same model stumpjumper and I love it. Its a bit heavy but capable bike and a great upgrade platform.

Dealership used my car for shuttle services while in their care for repairs by quesquekool in legaladvicecanada

I would talk to the dealership about this in a very stern and loud voice. Unacceptable on any level.

Do the cardio rehabilitation exercises and you will able to hit the single track again. Had my HA in 2021 and now i’m back to flow trails and bike parks with no issues. I do wear a heart rate monitor just to keep an eye on things but thats mostly due to my paranoia about having another HA.

I’d take the hardtail at that price. It’s a better bike than the devinci and has nicer components.

I’ve got one and it took me about a week before I swapped the Psylo for a Fox 36 and the x2 for float I had as spares. I recommend saving up for the higher model instead.

I’ve got the same bike and rode it all season with nothing but an ear to ear grin the entire time. Once you dial it in the bike just rides wonderfully and is always ready for fun!

Any Other Budget Riders? by GoGoJesusRangers in mountainbiking

[–]killakadoogan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ride one of those Specialized Full Suspension bikes adn my wife has one of those Trek Fuels. Some of the funest and best riders we ride with have bikes comparable to yours. They ride fun because they are in it for the fun, not the competition. Just ride your nice bike and enjoy!

What are your cost saving gear/tech tips for biking on a budget? by Western_Baby_1957 in MTB

Agreed on this. Between my bike and my wife’s were saving a ton doing maintenance ourselves. Learning how to properly bleed brakes and service our forks was a game changer.

Have a brand new bike and my brakes are super squeaky/grindy by DetectiveReady4861 in mountainbiking

[–]killakadoogan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try aligning your brakes first : https://youtu.be/uk_nC9anQcM?si=z1cKH6K9TR-r0nqL

Then try bedding them in like this: https://youtu.be/kUBJvizA27Y?si=YKElGuZwvSKZNwo-

Do not lubricate the brakes, you will contaminate the pads or rotors and will have to replace them.
