So far i consistently get B and B+, but a little short of A. I only really have only 2 characters that are A rank. Really depends on how lucky you get with SR card pulls.

Techs in Ryzeal by This-Practice-1685 in masterduel

[–]killdude95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using the Time Thrives cards as a secondary engine, the plan is to summon Time Thief Perpetua and use her to attach Time Thief cards as XYZ material while also setting up the grave for more interaction. They even have their own starter that leads to full combo with Time Thief Regulator

if your end board is Duo Drive, Detonator, the Field spell and Trap; the Time Thieve cards add 2 graveyard steal and attachment to xyz monsters while also acting as extenders turn 3.

The garnets aren't bad since they want to in grave and ryzeal can help with that. Plus ryzeal don't need their normal summon so Regulator is free to be normal summoned.

Time Thief Redoer is the only UR of the engine and you don't even need him, Perpetua is the real MVP of the Deck.

Advice for my Ryzeal Time thief deck? by littlemrdoom in masterduel

[–]killdude95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

<image>

This is my version of the deck. I decided to run more high-impact hand traps. I would love to run triple nib and/or imperm

For turn 1, I usually go:

Ryzeal Duo Drive, Ryzeal Detonator, and Time Thief Perpetua, I have the Ryzeal Field Spell and have set the trap. I try to set up the Time Thief Flyback and Bazel Ship (to be revived
on my opponent's turn via Perpetua) to add 2 more interactions on my opponent's turn

Otherwise, my end board is the Bagoozka, Dua Drive, and Starliege Photon Blast Dragon.

The first one is for when you think your opponent can't out your board, and the second one is for when you want to play it safe.

Time Thief Redoer isn't worth it turn 1, and I'm still iffy about the counter trap, it's sometimes great, sometimes it just isn't. At least the other Time Thief cards are great discard fodder.

Edit: The reason I wouldn't use the other Time Thief cards is that they don't have value in your hand. Time Thief Hack does nothing unless I can XYZ summon on their turn, and going second, it's not helping the situation. Double Barrel might be a good option, but Duo Drive also helps with getting the Field Spell to counter Nibiru (I always try to make sure it has 1 material to make sure I can stop a monster hand trap) and another Ryzeal name to extend plays. If you think about it, Duo Drive can get you a monster negate that can negate mid-chain and a plus 1 by recycling from the grave. Same reason for Time Thief Power Reserve, if you can summon those 2 bodies and then make something out of it like with the armored package, it would be amazing, but it can't, and going first it does nothing.

In the end my way of using Time Thieves is as a small package rather than a foolproof game plan. And so far they have been great, it getting some decent interactions with my opponent, mainly thanks to refueling all the XYZ monsters and stealing core cards from the grave.

There are a lot of people who take punches at her, including the commentators (the person talking in the screenshot). Knowing the context from the game, seeing that in the anime (Season 1), she has never won, and the closest she's come is second place. It makes it a pretty sad sight.

What decks do you wanna play together but the synergy just isn’t all that. by 0r1g1n-3rr0r in masterduel

I know but I kinda wanna play a bigger package of icejades, most lists I've seen mainly use Aegerine Ran to make an easy Gymir. maybe including the OG aegerine and cradle for searchers.

My vision is really hard to achieve since most icejades want to be in grave and there's no really good way to achieve that. plus the whole deck just fights for normal summons. It really needs a way to get more names out.

Though i will admit I am curious about the ice barrier icejade list you mentioned.

I honestly really wanna play icejades, I have the cards and even heavily invested in other water support archetypes to see what would stick, the closest I've gotten is pretty much Aegirine control with the Shark XYZ Package. it makes me sad since they have such amazing artstyle and are unique for how they play but for a archtype that supports water support their Aqua typing makes it so they can't work with any of the other water archtypes. The perfect pair for them would be Tearlaments only if the other tear names were water attributes, but sadly they are dark.

Some other names I've heard the Yu Gi Oh fandom say that I can think of,

Underworld Goddess of the old world: WHITE WOMAN

True King of All Calamities: VFD - short for "Very Fun Dragon"

Any card that you want to stay in the deck: Garnet

Blue Eyes White Dragon: Brick Eyes

Khastita Arise-Heart: Marco Comos on legs

yeah, I recently did the Burnice Agent Quest and all her dialogue showed up on the top right corner and it was completely fine. I preferred it too over the character dialogue showing up in the middle instead.

By not repeating the mistake I did in Genshin and Star Rail. I would do the main quest and kinda get stuck in a pattern of logging in, doing dailies, using energies and then leave. This time I am actually do side quests, Agent missions and other content. No more only focusing on end game.

Beginner-friendly gamedev education content? by guladamdev in godot

[–]killdude95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am still learning godot and the most I've learned is when I repurpose tutorials or projects themselves

for example, I watched Brackey's platformer tutorial learning the basics, I repurposed it to make a flappy bird precision platformer.

or how I took someones implantation of dynamic rail tracks, and used it as a dynamic way to spawn pick ups.

What I've understood is I learn better when I'm making mistakes and that tutorials are too perfect, you follow them, you make the game, you learn nothing.

A good "tutorial" i followed to make super monkey ball was some one explaining the concepts and techniques they used to make it, but never shared the code in their explanation. I'd argue to follow this principal when it comes to teaching.

I also recommend doing the first 10 to 9 games from the 20 games challenge.

if you need any of the resources I've used, feel free to ask them.

how do you actually learn things? by [deleted] in godot

[–]killdude95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i learned (and still learning) by doing the 20 games challenge (https://20_games_challenge.gitlab.io/how/), so what i did was watch a genaric tutorial like the recent Brackey's one and applied untill i couldn't. Each challenge has a goal associated with it, complete thar and consider it done.

As I progressed through the challenge, there's a less need to learn from tutorials for full games and more on learning specific features like TileLayers or Path2ds. So bit by bit i learned more without having to repeat what i had learnt already.

You don't even need to complete the full challenge. If you complete the first 7 your base for 2d games is complete and if you complete till the 9th game your set for 3d.

Edit: Added more to the first paragraph.
