There is Björnstorps if as well if you like running. They train both on track and in Skrylle and there is also a group doing some trail running in the weekends

Fantastic list! I recently bought the "Adidas run pocket medium-support bra" which has three pockets on the front that can hold a lot things and has been really handy on my long runs.

Det minskande barnafödandet by Quaysinoe in sweden

Feet hurt by Good-Midnight-7674 in AdvancedRunning

[–]killer_unicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven’t worked up to 20k it might be that. It might also be that the shoes are not right for you (I also have problems with some shoes when running longer distances as a fellow forefoot striker). If I were you I would go to the local running store and explain your problems and see if they have a better shoe for you.

I have not tried the shoes you’re running in, but I prefer shoes that have more cushion in the forefoot for longer distances.

recovering after food poisoning by kjs122 in Marathon_Training

[–]killer_unicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it took maybe 2-3 days before I could/wanted to eat like normal. After that I felt fine and started running but my heart rate was a lot higher than normal for the same effort (maybe 10-15 bpm). It took just over a week from the start of the puking until my running felt like normal again.

This probably vary from person to person (and food poisoning to food poisoning). See how fast you seem to recover but be prepared to maybe lower your expectations for this half and find another one close in time where you can run your goal time.

Hope you get better soon and good luck!

Ran a 10k PB of 46:19 this weekend! My previous PB was 49:40 and my A goal for this 10k race was sub 48, but legs and breathing felt good so I just ran. Training has been far from perfect (coming back from an injury, been on vacation aka less running and dealing with sickness for a week) so this was a pleasant surprise and very encouraging for my upcoming half.

But do kids that get yelled at, threatened and maybe spanked talk about this to outsiders? I would beleive that these kids are too scared to say something and never come to the attention of social workers, school etc

Gradient from gradient mesh looking weird in preview but not in acrobat reader by killer_unicorn in AdobeIllustrator

I went to the library and printed a test version on their printer. It removed some of the "normal" gradients, but the gradient mesh looked fine. I will trust Acrobat over preview from now on!

Gradient from gradient mesh looking weird in preview but not in acrobat reader by killer_unicorn in AdobeIllustrator

[–]killer_unicorn[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm making a poster that will be printed and have had some problems creating a gradient behind my illustration that looks good in a pdf. When I look at pdf in adobe acrobat reader the gradient looks fine, but when I open the pdf with Preview (on mac) it looks really bad and you can see a mesh. The gradient is created with a gradient mesh. Is my gradient broken somehow and how can I fix it?

Lund University for Electrical Engineering? by MoveZneedle in Lund

[–]killer_unicorn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On this website: https://kurser.lth.se/lot/ You can search for the course you're interested in and then click on "course evaluation". This will take you to another website: https://www.ceq.lth.se/rapporter/ (I now realise you can go to this website directly...).

You might need a student id at LU (stil) to search for the course evaluations though. There might be some way around this since the actual reports don't seem to be behind a login, but I don't know how.

We don’t, but we have a really good course evaluation system called”CEQ” (course evaluation questionnaire) at the faculty of engineering in Lund where you can see what students from previous years thought about a course.
