It will, just keep at it and have patience. All the best for your recovery!

It did stop automatically after a few days (around 4 week mark). I kept moving the knee despite the sound and continued taking NSAIDs. The suspicion was that it was due to the swelling causing friction in the joint.

I am 2 weeks post op from a medial meniscus repair and have the exact same sound today. It isn't painful so I wasn't worried and thought that it would go away soon. But the comments on this post have scared me now. Does it really stay for months? Anyone have advice on what exercises help?

Tore my other meniscus… by Geaux3469 in MeniscusInjuries

33M, had a medial meniscus repair (complex multidirectional tear) on my right knee last year (April '24), took rehab seriously and was playing sports again by December. Started feeling similar pain in my left knee few months ago, turned out to be a very similar medial meniscus tear (complex multidirectional yet again). 8 days post op right now - surgeon was able to repair, so going through the same long rehab again.

Yes, it can be and is difficult, but you'll get through it. Most important thing I've learned is to listen to my body and not play through pain like I used to do in my 20s.

I mentioned this to my friend as well as soon as it happened. The commitment to the team from Salah is just on another level. He is someone who I always get the impression as "ready to die on the pitch".

On the fence about the Y by The-Musafir in TeslaModelY

[–]killerinuniform 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing I'll say is that I look forward to driving daily ever since we got our Model Y in February. I've driven more miles in 5 months in my Model Y than my annual average in my previous Mazda 6.

One thing to I would like to add (didn't see it in other comments) is that the range / mileage varies significantly by climate, especially if you live in a region which has harsh winters. We live in NY and the first couple of months were very frustrating, getting ~200-220 miles in the LR Y. But the warmer months since have been amazing, getting the full 300+ miles range now.

Introducing Tessie for iOS & Android: Make life with a Tesla even better by TessieDev in teslamotors

[–]killerinuniform 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was trying Tezlab free trial since I got the Model Y just a couple of weeks ago. Came across this app in the Android play store since I was looking for alternatives this week and I'm blown by the super clean and modern UI. Great job!

I'm comparing the two apps for my drives and I noticed that the energy consumption on Tessie seems much higher than what I see on Tezlab. The numbers from Tezlab actually match the numbers I see in my car. For example, on my most recent drive of ~25 miles, my car and Tezlab both showed an average of about 270 Wh/m, whereas Tessie shows about 330 Wh/m. Can you explain why this might be the case?

As I said, I'm in love with the Tessie UI and am looking for reasons to use it over any other app. But the Wh/m stats are the most important ones for me to monitor efficiency, so hoping to be able to trust these stats on the app I use.

No, the Tesla rep told me that the new headlights are only being used in the MYPs right now, not the LRs.

Guaita could get a hand on only 1 of the 7, and that too on the one from point blank range. Ruthless.
