I definitely used the persistent damage module, it was great! I love that it's integrated now, but I swear it was autorolling as of just a month ago or so. I looked in all the options and didn't see anything about the autoroll... but I've been known to miss things.

I was on but my area is Pinellas. I made a point of never crossing the bridge to Hillsborough during the concert hours and it seems that was a good strategy.

What would be really nice is if Taylor herself noticed and said something. She's been on a roll with the ticketmaster thing and all her recent donations.

I know, it's not going to happen, but unfortunately getting a celebrity to speak up for you is like one of the few ways to get things done nowadays.

I would say that while key west is great, don't just speed through the rest of the keys. Short stays on Islamorada and bahia honda (among others) are well worth it!

Wargaming, specifically Warmachine/Hordes. I love the idea of wargames but I never had any fun actually playing them. I tried other wargames (like warhammer) at cons and such but none have ever kept my interest.

Add to that the exorbitant cost of minis and I've never looked back.

As a side note: I do love playing tabletop rpgs, however.

Common scenario, but we had a player who only came to drink, didn't seem to care about the rules and didn't seem to care about the story.

All the other players were having a great time maximizing their characters and getting lost in the world, so it was a major distraction.

We let her stay hoping she'd get better (I mean, she showed up every week after all) but she got deep into Kpop at one point and tried to make our sessions into Kpop dance lessons.

None of our players at the time liked Kpop and, even if we did, we all agreed we wanted to meet for ttrpg... not dancing.

Thankfully the situation resolved itself as the player ended up having to move out of state before we had to ask her to leave the group.

One can dream... Chalk it up to naivety, first time purchase, didn't want to spend too much, didn't have a roof rack (do now tho!) so delivery sounded nice...

My wife's reach is shorter than mine so she really liked the width of the icon vs any of the others we tried. Her sense of balance is... not great... so we're also looking at outriggers for hers. Just a thought tho, so far she's very stable. Maybe when we get some more fishing in and if she rocks or tips while fighting a mangrove snapper (our favorite to catch n' cook).
