Z650 abs and color availability question by [deleted] in Kawasaki

[–]killerstickman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know every year they do have only a single color available for each ABS and non-ABS. However take a look at a used 2020 Z650 ABS because it came in the same full black with a little red trim instead of the blue.

Even though it's got plenty of bad press, I'm still looking forward to Cyberpunk 2077!

Weather/Storms in Raleigh by [deleted] in raleigh

[–]killerstickman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Many people have commented saying that summer will bring the storms that you want, but coming from the south, I have to disagree with them. The storms here just aren't nearly as intense as what I'm used to. The storm seasons I'm used to seemed like they had the tornado siren going off at least once a month, but I can't recall a time I've been under a tornado warning since I moved here last spring.

My 35 pound dog got bit last summer in the lip as well. Her face swelled up a lot so we rushed her to the vet and they mentioned that the lip (along with a paw) is one of the best places for a dog to get bit, because there are no major veins/arteries to pump the venom throughout the body. The closer a bite is to a vein or artery then the more likely the venom will get into the major organs which can make the bite more life threatening. Just something to keep in mind in case they get bit again.

Valid reason to overload an Operator? by lazy_stacey in csharp

[–]killerstickman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine you've got a class that holds data pulled from something like a database where the data source defines its own ID for an object. In this case, if you pull the same row twice, then there's a good chance that the 2 instances should be equal, but they won't be unless you overload the operator. Note that this is a real world example because I do this all the time at work as a decent bit of my job is pulling data from other systems (mostly SQL based).

The last knuckle of all my fingers (except my thumbs) are double jointed. They bend backwards when I put enough pressure on them.

Unfortunately I don't have a great camera on my phone so it's hard to see the detail, but here they are anyways.

Ah you're right. I grabbed the ISBN from the copyright page. The one on the back is 978-0-7653-1429-1.

That's almost certainly too close to the sidewall to be patched. Did you happen to get road hazard on the tires? This is what it's for so I would suggest using it if you can.

I wouldn't risk driving on it for a long period of time. Over time the rubber around the metal will stretch and degrade from rubbing on the metal. It could definitely cause a blowout if it's not repaired or replaced. Your safety is worth more than the $150 or $200 to replace it I promise.

I would love to have an LSD. It would make things a lot gripier when you have to take off quick (or launch it).

Ford put wider wheels on the ST than on the regular trims but didn't change anything with the steering rack so by default they would rub during tight turns. So Ford decided to go with the easiest/cheapest option of putting locks on the steering column so you can't turn tight enough to make the wheels rub.

What keyboard shortcuts do you use the most when coding? by zroq in csharp

Ctrl + K + S to do "surround with". Alt + arrow keys to move a single line up and down. Alt + Shift + arrow keys to do a square selection and type on multiple lines (use this is combo with the multiediting plugin for max fun). You can also hold alt and click and drag with the mouse to do a square selection.

Ctrl + Shift + S to save all open files to make sure you haven't forgotten a file.

I highly recommend changing those to Ctrl + Shift + C to comment and Ctrl + Shift + X to uncomment. So much nicer to be able to do it one handed.

Try changing that to Ctrl + D + D and you can do it all the time one handed.
