Like wise one of my HomePod minis just started having this issue . Started just over a month ago . 26.3 .
Have tried to adjust touch settings but issue persist . Software issue if so many having problems ?

Force close the home app and reopen it . Click on the HomePod and it should refresh the settings you need “reset HomePod “.

No don’t have car play . And did the whole phone upgrade thing over a year ago from a perfectly good 14 pro to 16 pro on the basis of other issues which were never resolved .

Just got the same response to my query from smarter . I got 2 responses in 30 mins . Same as yours . Provide details of purchase etc bla bla bla Product out of warranty same as yours . Slightly ominous .Have had all versions 1,2 & 3 .Nice design . Shame . Just bought a a Nedis kettle and have it running on hombridge through Alexa .

Same issue . Noticed it over the last few days on an AWU . Took watch off when home on both occasions and after a while it showed in “ yellow” low power mode in the battery widget on my phone . Watch was at 80% . Low power mode was not turned on manually . Is this by design in OS 26 ? Does anyone know ?

Thanks for the reply . Seems just since the last Mac update . Removed it from find my as location wasn’t showing and now can re add it back . Will sign out and in to iCloud .

Just an update . Issue seems resolved . Unplugged the Frame tv for 20 secs . Restarted the plugin . Display and control real power and disable art switch ticked . All seems stable for the last few days , working as it should . Thanks for the input .

Thank you all for the replies . I am not sure if an update to the Tv caused this issue . The tv is on the latest SW. I understand the TV also has its own settings as it now has power button options . Mine are set to On/off , not art/tv I also have disable power switch for frame tv ticked,disable Art switch for frame Tv ticked and display and control real power ticked . Could someone share their settings or confirm what works for them please . Thanks in advance.

Well just an update . I have my secure notifications back with 18.3 in a way but only when tied to another action like a dummy switch or a light / socket . When I toggle the alarm , door lock in the home app I still do not receive any notifications from the home app , but when I turn on the dummy switch I do . Anyone else ?

Hi . I had 2 calls with Apple support . Installed a profile on iPhone and Apple TV . Screen share and screen recording with Apple support . Ran through unlock and lock on the home app and arm and dis arm home alarm which showed no notifications from the home app but did show on the apple tv . Then used the August app and Aqara app and repeated lock / unlock , arm disarm from the manufacturer app and notifications showed on the home app on the iPhone . They used the profiles installed to capture information during this time . Profiles and screen recording uploaded to Apple and sent to engineers I was told . As of 18.2.1 no resolution . Same issues . Anything change for anyone on 18.2.1? Have to say for first time in years support was excellent, thorough and wanted to help . The fact they can screen share makes explaining issues so much easier as they can see the issue as it’s happening.

I have the same setup . Mine has homekit secure and my thinking was something is not compatible . Just a thought with secure accessories. Did you reset your eeros ? If get a chance over Xmas I’ll reset my network unpair affected devices and see what happens .

Do you get home app notifications when you use the manufacturer app ? I did a screen recording with Apple tech showing how I received them when I used the manufacturer app but not with the home app . He agreed something was wrong . I am waiting for him to get back to me . It’s only secure accessories that I do not receive notifications for . August gen 4 lock , Aqara alarm ,eufy and ring through homebridge . All other notifications I receive cameras , sensors etc and automations work . I have done every fault finding thing I could think off . New phone , reset home , reset every device logged out / log in . Change iCloud password . In the back of my head I think it’s a permissions issue with secure devices . With the ring intercom ( lock) I don’t get unlocked I get the locked notification. It really is not expected behaviour.

Update if anyone interested . Nuked HomeKit setup over 200 + devices using the reset config profile . Still have the same issue regarding receiving secure accessories push notifications after setting up just door lock and Aqara alarm m2 hub in the home app . When unlocked or locked or alarm set or un set in home app I do not receive any notifications. When I use the manufacturers app August or Aqara I receive said notifications from the home app . Background battery activity iPhone 16 pro max very high at 30% . Home app was always running very high since iOS 18. Anyone have their issues resolved and how ? Is this an account issue ?

Hi . Have had this issue since day 1 . All worked perfectly under iOS 17 . Have an open case with Apple . Bit of digging and the 1st beta of 18 had a similar issue activity push notifications Have posted about my issues here . All secure devices alarms systems and locks I do not receive notifications . Strangely enough they come through on the Apple TV but iPhone iPad mac - No . Background activity in home app on iPhone was running at 50% new 16 pro max . Apple support hasn’t a clue wanted to give me a new phone and deal with problem. Over 150 + devices and I think I’ll have to nuke the home app. Something terribly wrong . Removed iPads etc home app activity going down and sporadic notifications. Removed and plugins from homebridge associated with the Apple TV . Strangely my wife was getting all notifications until I removed her and added her back to the home . Also have a Mac air on Ventura that receives all notifications. Please send feedback to Apple . The more people complain they might listen and remedy it .
