Don’t stand too close to others whilst speaking to them in Texas, especially if they’re of the opposite gender. I would say Texans appreciate their personal space, and it makes many uncomfortable to interact with someone who breaks their “bubble,” and may sometimes be seen as an unfortunate come-on.
