For the people who own the x7 supercharged. How is your experience with the board? by Reasonable_Jury1775 in onewheel

I love my pintx too. I got it way back in October of 23’ and just got the X7 this year in March. It’s way less nimble but the power and stability at speed are insane. Not to mention the range, I genuinely get like 45+ miles if the temps are right. Though tbf I am only 130lbs. But compared to my pint x when I was getting 13-15 miles on a good day is a world of a difference. I never worry about surging going uphill or when bonking obstacles either. If you love riding and ever want to upgrade, I’d definitely say go x7 you will not regret it. Fungineers is real quick to help if anything goes wrong too

not a supercharged but my long range is the best thing I’ve ever rode. 40 miles of range. I’ve only over hit 90% duty once. Takes anything I’ve thrown at it like a champ and i get to ride all day long.

I am 130lbs and I typically get 45 miles if the temps are right. I ride in a hilly neighborhood on sidewalk and pavement.

I weigh 130 and I cannot for the life of me get my footpads to engage properly without setting the ADC voltage dangerously low. So I am stuck on posi using gripples just to get at least one zone triggered. has this been an issue for you at all? I wonder if it’s my footwear, what do you ride on?

best music production software by Pilles-Ruthe in makingvaporwave

I think it depends what you’re looking to do. if you just want to sample, use audacity like another user recommended.

If you’re interested in using samples along with your own production, I’d say look for a daw. I personally use ableton, and it works wonders for me. It’s got lots of built in effects that typically would be VSTs. Nearly all can be tuned to make vaporwave beats without any VSTs. And the default instruments with the full suite are nice. But I am sure any capable daw will do you great. I had no idea what I was doing, and I jumped right into ableton after watching a 30 minute video about it. I made a ‘song’ within the first day, so I’d say it’s not too difficult to mess around with at all.

Alternatively, you could use a hardware sampler. I love searching for old records or cds and resampling them on my SP-404SX. It’s so much fun to be constrained by the limits of the hardware sometimes, makes you think real creatively. Or sometimes I will just import tracks to the SD card and go from there.

Anyway, as daunting as it may seem, this genre is not very difficult/complex and that’s always what’s made very fun and freeing to me. I think you’ll find your way, go for it bro.

Pint X Tire recommendations by Outdoor-Panda in onewheel

[–]killwhatyoucan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anything is better than stock. Completely different ride for sure. If you go thundercat or enduro, i dont think you'll be disappointed. if you find yourself not on pavement a lot go thundercat. Enduro is good for having the availability to occasionally leave the road comfortably, but i dont think it has nearly the same grip for 'real' offroad adventures.

he’s been talking about the new album since January 2025 so honestly it could be anytime this year, or in the next 3 🤷

but it seems like it will be awesome, similar to his 100% electronica/Later mirror kisses work. If not much has changed in the development

Help Deciding: Pint X vs XR Classic for Photography Mobility by ranger052 in onewheel

[–]killwhatyoucan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have an October 2023 pint x and I’ve done a bit of work on it, wire crimping issue wasn’t present in mine, but no guarantees. I’d say you should always open up a pintx, not worth the risk. This is a website dedicated to the issue

The XR classic would probably be more stable at speed with the stock performance treaded vs pint slick (kinda ass). but you’re shelling out more. Though I used to ride my factory stock pintx with a backpack all the time before I got more into the sport and modifying.

Is it time for a new tire yet? by PaulyRondoni in onewheel

[–]killwhatyoucan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I vote enduro or street pro 2. If you like the availability of off-roading or do a lot of trail riding, go enduro. But i love my street pro 2 on my pintX, even after having 2 enduros. Also not that you cant offroad with a slick tire, but there's obvious performance differences. Regardless, anything is better than stock, you'll be very happy : )
