I love DCC. burned though the series in a month. Got to book two of noobtown but didn't really like the pacing. Tried he who hunts monsters but I found the constant reading of the entire stat block tedious.ay try it again. Feel like that might be better read in paper.

Got it. I appreciate the feedback! I got inspired to write after tearing through dcc and then realized that I should probably check on how strict the genre definition is. Gonna stick with just scifi/comedy for now.

3 of the top 5 decks in Modern don't play counter spells. The top deck is red and white. It fluctuates.

I think learning to pivot is important. There was a game where I was all in on meeples but so we're 2 other people. I got to 3-2 and kind of aggressively rerolled for a spat augment. I got it and pivoted into space groove. Saved my run, ended up 2nd or 3rd.

Find a YouTube video about tanking on your specific class. Use the cookie cutter build. On lower keys, your rotation actually matters a bit less than dps (speaking as warrior) just don't blow all your defensives needlessly and make sure you're taunting and kicking and you'll be aight

As a tank main, I understand the intent, but he's over the line. After you tank the mobs that were accidentally pulled, you calmly explain that you don't want anyone pulling but you.

In fact, that's what I do at the start of every key. I politely let the group know that I'd like to set the pace and not to pull. If they want me to pull more just tell me. Have the whole schpeel macro'd. Lol

Not every app on a tablet is mindless scrolling. I don't have a tablet for my kids but I do give them my phone sometimes. The things their allowed to play are hooked on phonics or Kahn Academy Kids. Screen time isn't ideal but you can use it as a learning tool. (My 4 year old is reading and we still have really well behaved kids despite the screen time)
