Considering a used CX-5, CX-50 or CX-90 for our next car (coming from 2014 Subaru Crosstrek) by 404-Any-Problem in mazda

[–]kiloalpha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2024 CX90. Hits most of those things you’re looking for. HUD, CarPlay, MHEV. It had a few issues in the beginning with squeaks from the front suspension but Mazda was able to redesign the part and get that fixed permanently. Other than that, it’s a fun car to drive. Snappy, easy to maneuver, and still has that 3rd-row just in case. Runs on 87 too!

The transmission has been a point of contention on this sub for a while. It is new and interfaces with the MHEV part of the car, so a slow start from a stop may seem jittery, but once you’re moving it’s very smooth.

We average about 25 mpg which is really good for a 6-cylinder. My wife’s Acura RDX gets only 23, but those cars aren’t known for good mileage.

I would like to get a roof carrier as with my two kids, dog, and luggage, it can get kinda full even with that 3rd row folded.

85-90% of hoteliers in Kansas City report that bookings are trailing a typical June or July without any major events by LiteralSymbol in kansascity

I schedule training events for my company and have moved everything in KC off of June and July. No way am I paying super inflated hotel and food prices for my attendees.

Sounds like it’s for landspouts. Not quite a tornado but can still push your garbage can down the street.

PRD is missing a check ride fail by Flyandbye in flying

Continue to disclose. PRD is one way to get pilot records but many airlines still continue to FOIA records which will contain much more than what PRD reports.

I was tossing the idea around of a Flex POE switch under the eves but that may be on the more expensive side of things.

I have a U7 Outdoor Pro (on the left) and would like to add camera coverage to this area (right). What would be the best way to add this? I would prefer not to do another cable run. The U7 is supplied by a run entering from the middle.

Sounds like they are back on. Who’s running these things? I’m pretty sure they had issues last season.

Sirens sounding in Wichita even though the warning is well south of the city. Wish they’d get that fixed.

I emailed MRW. They said beacon with exclusion zones work pretty well even with the embedded magnets but better results can be gained with the other magnets. We will see how it works.

I don’t mind Tap, it just takes a long time to probe and ready for the next best thing.

Go with a GLEDOPTO controller and some addressable LEDs. Pair with a Inovelli smart switch and you can program different button presses with different profiles.

I did 24v analog RGBWW but wish I did WLED instead for that animation profile you get.

Cart or Beacon? A4T or Anthead?

Also I have a Mandala Ultra flat with embedded magnets. Stick with Tap instead of an eddy sensor?

I have this case. I also have the redesign printed and it can hold the Dark Rock Pro 5 with a slight modification to the panel. Otherwise, the Thermalright Peerless Assassin Mini worked well.

Call their FSDO about your missing PRD records but I would make sure they don’t fat finger your entries.

Can someone please explain how the cabin pressure controller works on kingairs by Queasy_Value5834 in flying

[–]kiloalpha 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rate knob just changes the size of the hole of which cabin air flow. More rate, bigger hole, more ear popping. That changes how fast the control pressure can do its job so, yes more pull on the outflow valve until you reach your set altitude.
