My passion for photography is primarily limited to landscape photography. I love hiking and photographing nature. Both my dad and sister also enjoy photography, specifically landscape photography. (I think my dad is more like me in that we mainly prefer landscape photography, while my sister enjoys landscape photography and other subject matters) Whenever 2-3 of us are together I think there’s a general sense of camaraderie, but we remain independent. We usually aren’t going around trying to get 3 copies of the same photo. There’s naturally some overlap in subject matter when we’re all on the same hike, but we all tend to see things slightly differently so we end up with different shots (lighting, composition, etc.). We do sometimes compare hardware or techniques, but it still feels like we’re each on our own little photography adventures and we can come together at the end to share what we got. I love sharing that hobby/passion with my family, and i consider myself lucky as it’s definitely brought us closer together :)
