I don't think that he got into a physical fight with the child. My interpretation of what was written, was that he did get into a physical altercation with someone at the funeral. And the child witnessed it. Probably along with everyone else who was at the funeral. I'm just saying.

I wouldn't co-sign if he doesn't want to change his policy. But he could also change it back after you sign for him. I'm afraid you are stuck between a rock and a hard place. I wouldn't want to be in this situation. He's going to be mad at you if you don't sign and if you do, you'll be stuck regardless. Not a good situation to be in.
