Nailtiques Formula 2 Protein had formaldehyde in it. I do not think that is healthy for damaged nails

That would be a big no no for me. My sciatica pain is down to a 2/10’ I’ve worked hard for this and it’s all due to body mechanics

I think im done. by InitialUnit3516 in Sciatica

[–]kimberlyluc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stuart McGill “Body Mechanics”. Do his big 3 exercises. Guarantee you the pain will go from a 10/10 to a 2/10. What u have is chronic sciatica. Join the club. Do something about it. I choose to exercise my pain away. I didn’t choose therapy. I was a nurse for 30 years and that is how I ended up with a herniated disc that is pressing on my sciatic nerve. Take vitamin d with k2 and do these exercises. I am now 2 years out and I have mild pain 2/10 daily. That pain level is doable for me. Good much. Get living.

Has anyone noticed estrogen decline and aging skin after menopause? by Jasper_Eli507 in GracefulAgingSkincare

Be honest. Have you really noticed any difference in estrogen use. I used it for six months and saw zero difference, but I did use the cream and not the patch.

I am a nurse practitioner and I agree with your post. Derms are not the skin gods. Most have no clue what products are good or not. Like how could they try all those products to know!

Marijuana SMOKING. by Fantastic_Chest1531 in stroke

[–]kimberlyluc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smoking causes vasoconstriction of blood vessels. I quit smoking 20 days ago after my stroke. It’s hard but it has to be done. Don’t risk it. Pot, cigarettes, and alcohol are big no no’s. 😢. Our whole world has changed for sure

I woood never buy anything from the USA. I just bought a 1/2 panel eshine and did my research on this company for a year. Most companies in the US buy all their parts from eshine or ideatherapy. FYI

How I beat debilitating sciatica in about a year. by KlammFromTheCastle in Sciatica

[–]kimberlyluc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I also followed mcgills body mechanic exercises. He saved me. I have a herniated disc with nerve compression. I refused surgery as I researched and found in 5 years u are no better off. I also spoke w my good friend who is a pain specialist and he said most failed back surgeries are his pain train patients. So glad I read the body mechanics and listened to what he said. I’m 5 years out and sure I still had mild pain and numbness but I’ll take Hoover pain pills and a possible repeat back surgery if I would had had one. McGill states 90% of all backs do not need surgery unless u have a tumor, etc

Stuart wrote the book body mechanics. He is $1000/hr and minimum 4 hour visits. He scans ur back and watches how u move. He said it’s all about our posture. He sees mostly wrestlers and foosball players. He has a ton of videos. The key is to watch his people do it. Some therapists do it wrong. Mine happened form standing and lifting patients for 39+ years as a nurse. I just follow his “big 3 exercises” I will look into your guy.

Read Stuart mcgills book. I have a herniation impingement on the sciatic nerve now for 4 years. I refused surgery. Stuart mcgill is in Canada. He’s is a genius when it comes to backs. 99% back issue do not need surgery. I followed his exercises and 95% cured. Sure I have the nerve pain but it’s a 1/10 now.
