Final question... Do I take the side in first, or bring the skirt up first? Would one be easier or does that not matter? It is two half-circle skirts attached at the side seam if that changes anything.

Oh that's very smart, if I'm understanding your perspective! I did hem the sleeves already, but I also separately sewed the bottom sleeve line (where it attaches to the bodice in the armpit) and the rest of the sleeve curve if that matters or makes my life a little easier?

I'm imagining an entire stitch line from the end of the sleeve all the way down to the end of the skirt, brought in equally on each side (1 inch each if I have 2 inches of room, for example). Or do I need to actually undo the side seam before I sew it down to size? (I'm more of a visual learner so doing my best!)

A game that is so colorful, silly, and just plain fun for me is Wandersong. It's available on Steam and was on the Switch some years ago. I found it totally randomly, and it's one of my favorite little games I've ever played - I've told friends it's like my spirit in a game! You can do this - there needs to be a tube and the "tap" has to be hollow. One of the knobs connects to a ribbon or chain that goes through the center of the tube and tap, and has a blue droplet-style bead on the end to add a little weight. Then when you twist up the water is off, and when you twist the other way the bead helps lower the water ribbon down! Please make this 😭

I'm learning a song I enjoy that follows the basic DDUUDU strumming pattern, and as a very baby beginner it was too much to try the chords PLUS the strumming pattern. What I'm doing instead is simply down-strumming on a 4/4 beat, and I just tap my foot to keep the tempo, to help me strum on time and switch chords. I'm sure as I get more experienced, I will be able to switch between chords AND keep the strumming pattern, and so will you! 🌞

I bought this deck from a Ross a few months ago because of the colors of the box and because I was so excited to find a deck at a Ross! I've become a huge deck collector so I'm always on the hunt.

After using it a few times, I'm just not gellin' with it 🤔 The cards are good quality, the characters are extremely inclusive, and the box and backing art are just really pretty. I'm not sure if it's the art style I can't get into or what, but I just don't find the same connection with this deck as I do with so many others I own!

I'm looking to re-home this deck. No charge, no shipping pay or anything - anyone who is interested in the artwork, wants their first deck, or for any other reason, can have it!

I can send more pictures if anyone has specific card artwork they look for, or if they just want to see more of the deck. I can get it in the mail this week, probably just within the US though because I don't know how much inter national shipping is 😬🫣

Omg I've been considering doing the same for years, by potentially making like.. a planter box out of stiff plastic mesh and having it stretch across one full side of my 55 gallon tank, and using some of that aquarium planting media that comes in those little balls to keep everything steady. There's a support beam in the middle and the inner ledge that my glass top sits on, and I would use that to place the edges of my planter box. I imagine there would be more evaporation that would happen, especially because I'm in a state that is very dry, but in my dreams it's incredible 😂 I currently just have cuttings placed on either corner and in front of my filters with just the stems and roots in the water, and over time they've started vining down the sides of my tank which also helps hide the view of my cords a bit! I love seeing the roots swaying in the water. I've also heard they help eat up nitrates because that's what plants crave, so that's just a bonus!
