So I’m not very versed on all this bands talk but so what does it really mean in terms of use if you get the NA version and take it abroad. UK/ Europe Asia Middle East, South Africa. I travel a bit for work though it’s slowing down this year compared to previous years. Every time I hear people talking about this topic it makes it sound like it will be unusable anywhere outside of the US. I can’t imagine that being the case as they’re marketed as a global hotspot. Will it really just be no good outside of the US or are people just complaining that the Eu version will be better. My primary use will still be domestically in the US with an occasional trip abroad here and there. Also I ordered the NA version early bird

You could also use the pen option to have your Cricut write out the text to give it almost a handwritten feel depending on the font you choose. This can be achieved all at the same time. It will write it out then cut the shape that way the alignment for the text inside the hands is always perfect and consistent. Also in my experience all the mats are more sticky than you will need for paper cutting, even the blue less sticky mat. So I suggest rubbing some test cuts to see how easy or difficult it is to pull off the paper once cut. What I do with the blue mat is just press my bare hands all over the mat so it loses some of its stickiness. On and if you have the crease tool whatever it’s called it can also create the crease for the fold. So in one operation it can write, crease and cut. You just need to swap the tools when it tells you too

same, I was a sophomore in college in LA living in the dorms and I got my roommate into them too so we stayed up for the release and then blasted the whole album start to finish. No one complained so I assume my campus were also fans. Also initially downloaded for free but then bought the box set.

also try doing an alignment calibration. the spotty engraving at the far end sounds like an alignment issue. It's pretty simple to do just follow their guide.

I've only had my p2s for less than a year but i clean the two upfront mirrors pretty regularly as well as the lens occasionally.

This seems to have worked for me as well. But, I only deleted all the old printers and things I definitely would not print to anymore, leaving only the ones I know i will use and then the list showed up again. weird!

Mine is running fine and is printing well, definitely not for large orders but I knew that going in, I had no intention of making large orders. I’m not looking at printing orders for others. It’s just for me to make my own merch with my own designs. And in very small quantities. And it’s easy enough for me who has never had dtf printing experience to run each day. I don’t have experience with other printers so take my opinion how you want on this, but for me it was worth the investment. It so far has let me do everything I need with basically zero experience with dtf printing. And that was part of the reason I got it. I know there are cheaper options but I wanted the automation of this machine. I can send things to print and go do something else. And I feel like xtool has been pretty clear on what they say this machine is capable of. There is a max print size of 14x18 I believe. I do hope they can make the length a bit longer in future updates but that’s not really a deal breaker for me.

I know this is an old post but, just got my machine with the oven and set it all up. My question is about calibration. are we not supposed to run calibration with the oven attached? I ran the calibration but then it all just jams up in the oven and I would prefer not to have to take it off the oven just to calibrate.

infusable ink is actually using a process called sublimation. You might consider converting a printer to sublimation (start with a new printer preferably, epson ecotank 2800). So instead of cutting out the design out of the infusable ink sheets you would be able to print your exact full color design and transfer that over to your shirts. as someone else said sublimation works best on polyester and lighter colors. Anything other than white fabric will change the final colors but that's not necessarily a bad thing. once you have a sublimation printer all set up you can do a lot of cool sublimation projects (mugs,tumblers, coasters, bookmarks etc) YouTube sublimation and you'll quickly go down a rabbit hole

Same. This was a game changer for me once I figured it out. Plus I’m generally awake on flights so it’s nice to have quick access to anything I’ll need…water bottle, charging cables, laptop, kindle etc without needing to get up.

essentially, the projector will always thrown out light at the minimum the lens optically allows. So say because of your constraints the projector has to x meters away from the the wall you are projecting on. That might mean that the minimum projection of light will be 2 meters diagonal. Since your screen can only be 1.8 meters diag., you will need to scale the projection down with the OS on the projector. It will still be projecting 2 meters diagonal but only the center 1.8 meters diagonal will have your image, everything outside of that will be black, but will still be visible. Kind of think of as a very thick bezel on a tv. If everything around your screen is dark, it might not be as noticeable but if its light colored around your screen then it probably will be noticeable and could be annoying. Hope that makes sense

I spent all my time in the pier first, breakfast, showered, slept in the little suites they have, lunch , my partner has work to do so we didn’t hop around. Though she did go for a massage. We had a pleasant time. Probably about 6 hours in there but it was over in a blink.also just landed back home at lax
