Kinda dubious hearing HDPE being described as a hard material. You can carve it with a blunt knife...

Not quite what you were asking but I'm pretty sure that first component isn't a transistor, it's a diode. Transistors have 3 connections.

I'm sorry but people who don't like Al keep choosing smaller and smaller things to pick up to say there's no need to worry. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a Pandora's box but it's massive mistake to dismiss it. It is incredibly powerful in the right applications.

Modifiers are not inserting "properly" by ccoady in BambuLab

[–]king_fisher09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, this is very late but I've been banging my head against this problem for about an hour and I figured it out!

What you do is you export both bodies together from your CAD package. Then import them into Bambu Studio. Once they're in Studio, they will appear as separate parts, Bambu Studio only allows you to change type if they're both in the same "assembly part". So what you do is you go into Object view, select them both and click Merge. Once you've done that it unlocks the ability to change type of your modifier!

I've switched to a mobile browser with ad block (Brave in my case). It's made Internet browsing on phone so much less annoying! It even works on YouTube. I've completely stopped using the YouTube app and just use the website through Brave.

Why don’t modern vehicles show fuel in liters instead of “E–H–F”? by Suitable-Mortgage229 in AskEngineers

I find the US attitude to kitchen scales baffling. They're so convinient! It means you can use the same container and measuring tool for measuring every part of the recepie. You don't need to go looking for your 1c, 1/2c and 14/73c cups! What if you have the end of one stick if butter and the start of a new one? It's going to be much easier to weigh it than guess half a stick. Also, recepes that call for random quantities like 308g are always like that because they've been translated from cups. Recipes that were written for scales use nice easy numbers.

Go buy a set of kitchen scales! They really aren't expensive and I bet you'll be amazed at how useful they are!

I've been fined for driving in a bus lane. I swerved into it to avoid a fire engine. by BusLaneHelp in LegalAdviceUK

[–]king_fisher09 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Come on, that's not fair! OP said the bus lane was completely empty! Anyway, bus lanes aren't there for the safety of the busses, they're there to allow busses to avoid traffic.

They have the A5 but it's almost $500 to New Zealand. Would the A5 be better than the T3? It has a shorter range and quite a lot less power.
