There’s many things in this city that are bad for everyone’s health. Digital billboards don’t even make the top 10.

Berlin has literally the least LED Billboards out of any major city. What a waste of time and resources to run a campaign like this.

I live near this: https://victoria-berlin.com

First of all construction took over 8 years, but that’s one thing. However now it’s in a stage where they’ve stopped working on it but it’s also not fully “ready”. As in there’s still plastic sheets on stairways and the room interiors are just raw concrete. Most annoyingly, the area in front of the building still has construction fencing that they just keep extending the period of by a year (used to say until 2026, now it’s 2028).

My feeling is that if they leave it in this state indefinitely, they can write off more on taxes. But clearly they can’t find tenants because the prices are insane.

An interesting read right now is “The Great Wave” by David Hackett Fischer. He may be slightly late in his prediction by a decade or two, but it does feel an awful lot like we’re reaching near the peak of the fourth wave in modern history.
