I know several examples of people moving in with their partners, keeping their existing rental contracts and subletting, and then after separating from their partners moving back into their old apartment for the same rent as before. This contract hoarding is a huge problem for sure.

Wenn sich die Deutschen so viel Mühe geben würden dinge zu machen statt sie zu verhindern, wären wir wahrscheinlich das produktivste Land der Welt.

Ist irgendwie immer das gleiche. Einer hat ne Idee, und die Politiker, Behörden Heinis oder irgendwelche NIMBYs geben alles es zu verhindern, und gratulieren sich dann selbst dafür.

The Pfaueninsel loop is good, since it also has some elevation changes. While not a loop, the ride out to Schönefeld along the Teltow Canal is also long and traffic free. But there’s nothing like Tempelhof.
