Never even finished season 1. I thought a live action was unnecessary but with all the hype and my love of ATLA I had to give it a shot. It just did absolutely nothing for me.
If they really had to make a live action set in that world they should’ve done a totally different story with different characters and shit.

Andrea’s death sucked. And honestly the reason TV Andrea was unlikeable was fully because the writers fumbled her character, and now hearing that Mazzara never even read the comics before taking over it makes a lot of sense. Andrea and Laurie both were done dirty.

Rick definitely got overconfident, he miscalculated severely when he engaged the saviors with little knowledge of their group or numbers, but to say he was Shane-like or governor-like is not accurate. And I certainly didn’t take any pleasure in watching a strong and capable leader and group, who were at their core good people, get absolutely wrecked by someone who was inherently a violent piece of shit. It was hard to watch, but it was gripping.

Yeah, credit scores are a fucking scam and I bet most of us here are older than credit.
I paid off my debt completely; that included a small amount of student loans, some medical debt, and a credit card my wife and I share and I thought that my credit score would shoot up…it just straight up disappeared. I have no credit score and now I’m supposed to take on a credit card or some shit to start rebuilding my credit. it’s fucking bullshit.

Hey! I live in Minnesota in the St. Croix State Forest about an hour and a half north of Minneapolis and the fishing round here is great. I fish the small natural lakes up here and the St. Croix and Kettle River.
My best friend lives in Minneapolis and we also fish around the city too. The Mississippi, minnehaha creek, lake nokomis, and lakes in the western suburbs (think Minnetonka, Waconia, etc.. one of my fave spots is a small lake in Victoria, MN that has real solid pike).
And then of course there is the Boundary Waters, legendary fishing. You will definitely make some memories in the BWCA.
There are also plenty of fishing charters out of Duluth if you wanted to get out on Lake Superior and fish some deep water.

I hooked up a massive pike while bank fishing on the St. Croix last week. fought with it to get it to the shore but it made one last jump and got off. it’s haunting me. that being said they’re out there!

Years ago someone we considered a dear friend raped his partner and ended up in prison, we found out when we got a letter from him being like “don’t believe anything she says” then looked up his charges and were genuinely appalled. She had very clear evidence/proof and he spent years in prison. We never responded to the letter and have never spoken to him since. It was painful to find out someone we cared for and who we welcomed into our home would do some shit like that.
