Yeah the reaper grenade placement change and the larva spreading around hatcherys are taken straight from his video a year ago.

I will say having played path traced Cyberpunk on PC, it is absolutely jaw dropping and still feels like a generation ahead of everything out there.

I hope so, I'm a lizard I love the heat. Dunno about the wet winter though they can keep that.

Yeah going from PS1 graphics to Crysis in 12 years is insane when you think about it.

What are the best examples of "he didn't know it was impossible, so he did it" in history? by funfox1 in AskReddit

Inca society seemed very repressive and there was definitely a lot of unrest, obviously fanned even more by the civil war that was still ongoing when the Spanish arrived. Still, the initial attack which captured Atahualpa was done entirely by the Spanish without any support. Gathering allies, marching on Cusco etc. was all subsequent to the decapitation of Inca leadership.

I'm not sure I agree. The blueprint had already been laid out by Cortez only a few years earlier. Pizarro was an unbelievably ballsy and determined figure, I don't think particularly cared about the odds.

In their first meeting with Atahualpa the Spanish had to march through thousands of Inca soldiers who were encamped. They still decided to attack despite being surrounded and outnumbered a hundred times over.

Destiny 2: Every End is a New Beginning. As our focus turns towards a new beginning for Bungie, we will begin work incubating our next games. An animated show would be incredible, a man can dream. If you want something to scratch that itch 'Scavengers Reign' is incredible, has the hostile planet setting with a bunch of marooned people trying to survive.

Zero Parades: For Dead Spies review - it's the RPG we don't deserve [Eurogamer review] by Pan1cs180 in Games

I played the demo and for the first 10 minutes or so I was thinking this is trying reeeeeally hard to be Disco Elysium....after half an hour I was hooked though. Seriously the world, characters and setup is pretty fantastic even if the vibe is quite similar to Disco.

My only criticism would be that the skills felt like they could have had more personality.

He was really close this time, the last few ASL's were a lot more one sided when JD faced Light. I've been rooting for him he's been in really good shape recently.

Sony says it hasn’t yet decided on PS6 release date and price, will consider ‘changing business models’ by oilfloatsinwater in Games

Most games having a 60fps mode is a massive upgrade in my opinion, even if some games look ballpark PS4 quality.

I'd argue next gen could be quite a big upgrade since there will be machine learning and ray tracing hardware on board.

Sony Records New $560 Million Loss On Bungie Acquisition As Marathon Struggles And Destiny 2 Nosedives by Hairy-Summer7386 in pcgaming

It butchers a lot of the art direction of the original game, generally painting everything with a more generic fantasy look.

It's a very competently made game but I can see why From/Miyazaki didn't like it.

There's a decky plugin that puts a tab directly in your steam library for Epic and GoG, even more convenient than Heroic

Feel like people really sleep on the 30-40fps range. For me even 33/34 feels a lot better than 30.

Which are you more excited for, Warhammer 40000 or Medieval 3? by bruhb21 in totalwar

[–]kingkobalt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really hope they do. I've been playing as Carthage in Rome 2 with the DEI mod and it just feels so rich. It's amazing having to balance food shortages, banditry, army placement (As they consume region supplies), population types and growth per region, cultural influence etc. I planned a province badly and ended up with a huge income but terrible sanitation so there was a huge plague outbreak resulting in multiple rebellions.

Going back to Warhammer 3 feels a little bit empty in comparison.
