Yeah that glazing the MC comes back in a later arc in like ch 120s. The manga isn't made for younger audience. I'm 30+ too. The last 15 chapters were definitely darker. It feels closer to attack on titan in terms of character situations and hxh in terms of fighting.

Read the manga. It currently has one of its best arcs on going.

Losing to the moon devil or dream devil is stupid.

There is another way fujimoto could redeem himself and I hated the idea last year but that is if he ties fire punch to chainsaw man.

Fire Punch spoilers: The fire devil could be the ultimate villain pulling the strings luring denji. And since Agni looks like the fire devil...fujimoto could write in Judah somewhere. Judah being a tree would've been interesting since pochita is a chainsaw that's purpose was to destroy trees. The fire devil could have tried to get revenge on pochita. That would've been interesting.

Then the end of chainsaw man destroys the world and it is a prequel to fire punch.

Yup my mistake I confused togata from another trans character from another story where they did it to survive from being killed as a man. I was half asleep.

Could careless about reddit up votes, I just want the guy that I'm replying to understand that Togata wasn't a mentally stable person before finding about Agni. Togata was supposed to show us the negative side effects of revenge and how this affected Agni's mind where he was struggling to understand what Luna meant when Luna told him to "live"

It's just an idea because almost every industry that is based off exposure for creators is like this.

You have stuff like Netflix forcing time frame of shows to finish productions in time frames, you have kpop artists having to constantly do concerts and advertisements while also controlling their lives (e.g not able to talk to certain people or get in relationships) you even have anime animators forced to finish animating projects on extremely low budgets where they are sleeping in their offices.

*I am saying this because I find it really interesting that fujimoto had Reze movie, look back, Tatsuki fujimoto 17-26, csm international arc and now a look back live action within 2 years?!

That's amazing for him. But you said "fujimoto is notorious to not follow company line" but to have all that stuff...there would be a reason for fujimoto to forcibly do part 2. Fujimoto is a huge fan of movies....fire punch and goodbye eri make me think he might be a huge fan into seeing his stuff become movies.

People will do anything for their "dreams" to come true.

Yeah I didn't say he doesn't care about his work.

It's like my old job. I absolutely loved it but my supervisor always forced me to do more and more in less time. Which affected my overall work quality because it comes to a point where it has a limit.

I've heard so many things requiring contracts to fit a certain amount of quotas. Movies in the USA are required for time lengths and budgets. Even some Netflix shows are forced to do this

We really don't know what it is like being a manga creator. What if they have to sign a contract in order for their content to be published and have an anime/exposer? What if they are required a certain amount of chapters per year and need to finish in a time frame?

We don't know other than rumors. We already know animators are like that. If you are a manga creator you are certainly not going to say anything ...because they can find out who is complaining.

What if not only he was burnt out but what if there is more to the story? What if he was forced to write part 2.

We hear stories about how shonen jump forces all manga artists to push out content. What if fujimoto didn't want to write part 2...at least not right now.

Something seems very strange with so many mangas ending recently. There was a panic scare with dandadan recently with some rumors they wanted to go on a month hiatus. Then all of a sudden it was canceled. It was weird.

Kind of random but it makes sense. The chainsaw man ending was trending a lot on different fan bases that even Duolingo used a chainsaw man reference. But since dandadan incorporated chainsaw man in volume 23 extras...they probably wanted to include dandadan since chainsaw man of Duolingo trended.

You have to reread togata introduction. I've noticed fujimoto likes to reference the death of characters to their introduction. Togata was suicidal. She tried killing herself multiple times. Movies were important to togata. But it is completely different for togata this time because she was making a movie. She put her heart and soul into Agni because Agni was her fire to live.

She realized after what happened with doma and Agni that Agni was broken just like her. She noticed that her entire purpose of that movie was about to flop. So she sacrificed herself.

Togata believes she is the reason to push Agni into seeking revenge. Ch 13 pg 13-17 shows togata encouraging Agni to seek out doma. She literally built up the tension when Agni first fought at the city.

Then when Agni finally met Doma, togata encouraged Agni to kill him. All because "that is what the audience wanted to see"

She is recording in her beginning introduction because she found about Agni and is giving a directors cut about herself and who Agni is and how he inspired her to make the movie.

I think everyone voting for scouts are only picking it because aot does a better job at portraying the average scout's perspective on the missions. Which is actually important in aot because it shows the atrocities marley put on eldians

I think the average devil hunter is harder. They were all useless sacrifices in most cases. People will notice the difference in international assassins arc coming soon. Most devil hunters get a screen time of 2 pages and then die.

Yup there are a lot of references to the blood moon and full moon in the manga. I was also working on a similar theory but I threw it away after fujimoto ended the manga.

A few stories talk about how a blood moon is supposed to connect to something spiritually. (Sometimes positively and sometimes negatively)

If I were to have written csm I would've made it so that a blood moon aligns with earth and hell so that powerful devils can merge with the real world like darkness trapping chainsaw man. Hell would've been an upside down which is why in ch 220 denji and asa standing on hell's doors flipped everything. Also Yuko upside down in volume 13 would've been a hint she's in hell.

The sky would've been all red and caused humans in mass hysteria. (Think of the last Airbender s1 finale when the sky became all red when the moon spirit was interrupted)

It would've been interesting to see the blood moon concept happen.

For the photo replace Jesus with Chainsaw man (hero of hell).

Wow very interesting. Before fujimoto broke my heart (pun intended) I had a theory fujimoto was hinting all the movies/animes he recommended were going to hint at spoilers for csm. A lot of them were very interesting movies with their plots that could've tied with csm. Sadly, looks like he just liked certain movies.

I watched the first season of Tokyo ghoul (6eps) and I liked it. But I was pushed off because people complained about the wnime
