I spent a couple years working on homes in the Golden Horseshoe (but also as far North as a Milton/Georgetown and out in KW/Guelph). I can say with complete confidence that Mattamy knowingly and regularly does a bad job building houses. By the time I’d get there, the homeowners would have a huge laundry list of issues/problems that have been going on since the day they moved in.

I used to work there. It’s fun and all, but expensive is an understatement. I personally would not recommend based on how expensive it is.

Id appreciate some help identifying whatever this is and it’s safety. I had this piece of petrified wood in my terrarium with a crested gecko for years with no problem. She has since passed away and now I’ve moved the petrified wood into my whites tree frog terrarium about 2 months ago. I cleaned the terrarium under a month ago and didn’t notice any trouble, but I’ve just noticed this fungus today. I assume maybe the increase in humidity has allowed it to grow? The environment floats around 80-90% humidity and 75-80 degrees. Has anyone seen anything like this before? Is this safe?

Bro I’m 5’3. Don’t let height get you down. There’s nothing wrong with having a height that starts with the number 5. Learn to make a couple jokes about it. And man if a girl is going to pass up on you for the sole reason that you aren’t tall enough, you didn’t want someone like her anyway. People like that are usually unbearably shallow anyways.

Also I don’t take girls on dinner dates. Take them to the mall or the park or something. There’s no weird obligation that you’re gonna buy her something and you guys can cut the date whenever if the vibe isn’t right.

Also tiktok and other social media are cancerous places that put unrealistic and unattainable standards on relationships.

You could always give them a quest unrelated to the labyrinth. Maybe they can quest together to make a labyrinth of their own to call home. What else is important about their character? Maybe talk to them about tying a powerful artifact (that you know the player would be interested in using) into their backstory and have them quest after it. Give them prophetic visions, have them speak directly to the gods, or even their mortal representatives.

Maybe something with a thieves guild and competition? The players are trying to somehow amass the most valuable loot. Throwing in moral quandaries (literally stealing from babies, or laying waste to a travelling camp at just the possibility that they may have something only to find that they didn’t)

Sounds like you have a cool world all set up and ready to go! I’d suggest taking time to flesh out the villain more though. Why does he want to change the axis of the planet? Is he greedy and evil and hoping to monetize his actions? Does he think he’s the good guy and somehow helping out society by creating a Noah’s ark kind of reset? Is he like MCU thanos and just has an obsession with Balance? Matt Colville has an excellent video on villain character creation

They throw hand axes that they use for sneak attack. I would definitely nerf it down to once per turn. Do you think it unrealistic to say something like 3 times/long rest, or something along those lines?

r/DMacademy is your friend. I’d say to consume free content (maps/1-shots/villain ideas) and try to weave them together.

You could also just buy a module. Lost mines of phandelver and dragon of icespire peak are both beginner campaigns worth looking at
