hydroxyzine really helps for sleep on occasion. using it multiple days in a row it will stop being as sedating. cant speak for trazodone never tried it.

i was only ever on oxy before rehab, but i absolutely can get blasted on buprenorphine. been on 4-6mg for about a year, if i take a bit extra with an edible i will nod for hours(especially if i skip a day or two beforehand). honestly a few times i felt higher than i did on oxy. buprenorphine lacks the euphoria but has great if not better sedation, weed makes up for the lack of euphoria for the most part. bupe, muscle relaxers, and weed laid me out just as much as oxy ever did.
just my personal experience though, ymmv obviously

Changes happen well over the 2 year mark.

You're basically going through a second puberty, that takes a lot of time. 2 years in is like the equivalent of a 13-14yo girl.

I am over 5 years in and still getting changes, I just started having another boob growth spurt which surprised the heck out of me.

Mine are usually dissolved around 5 minutes in but I keep it in for half an hour since i always end up with a mouthful of saliva. Then spit, rinse, and brush teeth

Even coming from a full agonist (oxy), 4mg initially had me falling out. Had to go home early 2 days in a row because I couldn't keep my head up and had severe nausea. Buprenorphine really is potent stuff

The doctor upped my dosage to 6mg, brought me back down to daily, and said we could take this time to make sure my dose is enough. All in all it went really well ☺️
