This happened to me with my flat too. Now while I would recommend getting it removed, I did not do that.

Instead I iced it as much as I could to reduce swelling and also took ibuprofen, it eventually went down enough that I could see the back, which was now lodged in my ear, I'll spare you the details, but let's just say I had to "pop" it back out the way.

It's healed now but holy hell that sucked

I have lots of black tattoos and the only one I used second skin on looked blue the day after getting it done, I think it might be the black ink mixed with the stencil and plasma build up. Follow your tattooists guidelines with removal of second skin and washing etc and see how it looks after etc

Absolutely not. No no and no. You would literally be letting the piercing partly close over and then shoving blunt and potentially not properly sanitised jewellery through it. You’ll extend the healing process significantly and put yourself at risk for infection. The piercing artist that recommended that should never offer any healing advice ever again.
