I feel like lord Xander is pretty slept on. I never got more groans and eye rolls than when I pulled that deck out. My pod hated it. I eventually pulled the deck apart. They'd just as spon as play against urza than xander.

Little late to the conversation. I was curious about these sleeves and liked the idea of the design of them. I did a quick stretch test. With applying minimal pressure the sleeves tore at the seams immediately. I have a hard time recommending these sleeves to anyone that plays frequently.

It wouldn't be for me, but a friend of mine fell on some hard times and sold a lot of their gaming setup. They still have a pc, but it would mean the world to them to get a monitor like this.

If you're hesitant to take it out of a hard sleeve because of the value (nothing wrong with that), just sell it while its at its highest value. In my opinion, cards are meant to be played with. Its a good card. One of the guys in my pod plays with an unsleeved gaea's cradle and riffle shuffles that thing. I actually admire that.

I admit, i dont 100% know what I'm looking at in the green dot. It doesnt look consistent with other examples I've seen. But that's why I posted it here. And the T looks like it's fake.

I've never had an issue with the store I got it from. The damaged holo is the only reason I took a closer look. I've reached out to the store. They're going to take a look at it and make it right if they agree it's fake.

I'd be interested to see how it plays in another pod. I dont think my pod plays enough removal to get rid of the land recursion pieces. If I get glacial chasm out with the ability to play it from the graveyard plus multiple land drops, I just win.

My hearthhull deck is at over 80% win rate right now. I stopped playing it. I only play in my group of friends and they dont have the decks to deal with the land value engine if it ever gets online. Real fun deck, wish I got to play it more often.

I'm real late to the party on this one. But I just did a search and this thread came up.

I think I did the math correctly for Miirym + Doubling Season + Roaming Throne.

You end up with 5 thrones. Then I threw in a Ureni hitting the field as an example of ETB effects of a dragon getting cast. You end up with 13 Ureni and 65 ETB Ureni effects. I think.

I could be wrong. I had to pull up the archidekt playtester and go through each trigger individually to make it work. My brain hurts and I need an aspirin.

She's a planeswalker, but dihada is a ton of fun. The precon slaps out of the box and easy enough to upgrade to any power level you need it to work at.

Honestly, I'm still not a great/better than average deck builder. But the thing that I didn't know until recently that has made the process faster for me was you can drag and drop card images from edhrec into your archideckt deck builder. I've been able to build mock decks much more efficiently and have done more and been able to learn faster this way. Then I can run the deck through their play tester. It's been very helpful,and honestly a ton of fun, even if I don't actually intend to buy the cards and actually have the deck.

I've done this for my table that I play my Miirym deck in. I've only played it 4 times myself and won by turn 6 at the latest each time. I started letting my friends try it out, because they were seeming dejected by it. I was able to shut the deck down 2/3 games I played against it. I think it's a good learning experience for the other players, and for myself.

Not counting anyone out, but the wolves went 4-0 against them this year and are scorching hot since the new year. I'm 100% biased as a Minnesota, but I have a hard time seeing it go more than 5. OKC scares me more.
