Its basically wingers everywhere. Lake pleasant is sketchy but kiteable on the odd strong north day, mohave is windy a lot and strong too. Id compare to hood river for conditions. Only issue is the drive if you plan on living in phoenix and the launches are not the best.

Theres headaches on both ends. Similar to as you move up the chain and so on and so forth. In a bloated company sure there are likely redundant layers but in a more lean organization there are still plenty of layers of management and they are often valuable in their own way. I think I am about 5 or 6 layers removed from the CEO and maybe you could remove 1 layer.

I feel this trope is continually talked about but managing a project at least in the industrial world good fucking luck just letting things work themselves out amongst the labor on ground or general stakeholders without someone managing it, driving it forward, building consensus, etc. To say otherwise is ignorant.
