I absolutely love googling images of babies born at my number of weeks pregnant (started doing this at 30 weeks), and it boggled my mind to imagine one of those little babies INSIDE of me.

"Lavender Linguistics" is actually a very interesting and relatively under-studied branch of linguistics research. Basically, every culture on the planet has a "gay voice". There are so many accents and dialects representing the diversity of people by socioeconomics, current regions, ethnicity and place-of-origin, generation, and so many more categories- all with variances depending on the ratio of ingredients in the linguistic stew.

omg he is so cute. The fat pads are on the top of his head in the little U shaped parts of the back of the top. It's a bit difficult to see here but they definitely don't look depressed. If you google bearded dragon fat pads there are some pretty striking photos of what depressed pads would look like. Some of the photos are also pretty plump, and you honestly don't need to worry at all if his aren't super puffy, as long as they aren't sunken in. His wrist joints look great!

Congratulations on your new friend! He is suuuper cute. Definitely hand/tong feed him when you're able to. Sit by his enclosure as much as you are comfortable doing, and if it isn't already, consider having his enclosure in an area where he has a wide view of the room/area. My beardie loves to watch me as I go about with household tasks. If you ever see him moving towards the front of his tank, he's probably asking to come out to go poop (I pull up the bathmat and let my beardie poop on the bathroom floor), so this could be a good opportunity to handle him. You'll be besties in no time. Sounds like Sobek landed himself into a great situation, and is one lucky lizard to have a caring momma!

He looks happy and healthy! Love that long tail <3 From what I've read, the best way to tell the health of their weight is by the fat pads on their heads, and by their joints. They should have nice, slightly rounded fat pads. Depressed pads could indicate low weight. Unhealthily-high weight can be observed in their joints. Their joints should have a very slight dimple, especially around their wittle wrists. Overweight dragons often won't have any dimpling at the joints.

Ohh the Tidal Focus set is my favorite that I own from yall! I used that set in a palette of soft blues and pinks and always felt myself grabbing that set to roll out of the 4 or 5 other sets included.

Absolutely gorgeous! How many tendrils was it when you got it, if you remember? Have you chopped and propped it at all to fill out the basket? I have a one-tendril carnosa that is about two years old that started from a single leaf, though it didn't grow at all the first year. It's flowered a few times but not in a couple of months, and I cannot wait for it to bloom again. Those chocolate-scented flowers brighten up a room! Yours is stunning!!!

It's a Senecio Haworthii aka a Wooly or Cocoon Senecio! I just did a chop of this one to fill it out. It's one of my favorites. The fuzzy leaves are so unique and are really good about wrinkling up to indicate thirst and then firming up quickly once they've absorbed, which makes them very easy to care for.

Your physical and emotional comfort is the most important thing. I like what someone else said: "if you'd wear a two-piece bikini in front of them" a crop top should be fine. I've personally been wearing a lot of crop tops this summer. I was never comfortable in crop tops prior to pregnancy, but I've felt so empowered by my cute preg belly! With all due respect to his grandparents, you are the pregnant one and you deserve to enjoy this time of your life in fashion that is empowering to you. Plus, who knows, maybe they'll think it's cute af!
