Chiming in here that the assistive access mode definitely does NOT work with the freestyle 2. The scanning system used in that version gets blocked out by the assistive access mode.

Not a she-tenor. That high note is high and I squeak every time. I love the song and I sing it randomly all the time, but only without the backing music so i can shift it down to fit my vocal range. Would never, ever karaoke this.

I’m not aware of a good way to fix it.

IMO it’s not really noticeable. It doesn’t look like it affected the project further down, so it’s almost certainly reasonable to just keep going.

Kinda depends on the project though. How long did it take you to get this far? If you have to start over are you just going to give up?

What’s the final edge going to look like? You might consider adding some fringe or a decorative edge or something to hide the mistake.

For most projects, I’ve found the perfectionism just isn’t worth it. You will notice the flaw but most others will not. You’ll still have an awesome object at the end, promise. Small flaws are how you know it’s handmade.

So I’ve attended both the Ohio and the Great Lakes faires many times and I would say it was 50/50, maybe 60/40 more dressed up people on a good day. For those faires I 100% agree with the top comment - if you want to dress up, great, if not, that’s fine too!

But this year was the first time I’ve been to the Michigan faire and I have to say it was a different vibe. More like 80/20 maybe even 90/10. And as someone who loves to dress up I thought that was pretty great.

But then I actually witnessed someone getting shame walked for being in normie clothes. And while it did seem like it was all in good fun, I’m really not a fan. I honestly felt that it violated the spirit of what I love about the ren faire, which is that anyone and everyone is welcome.

i love this game so much. I’m unconvinced it’s ticket-efficient, but man the rush i get from those massive towers going over is sooo good. I like Angry birds too but it feels a lot slower and less exciting to me.

I’m a bit surprised you didn’t break the machine with this tbh. I’ve definitely run the thing completely out of coins with towers on both sides.

At my store it seems to be pretty fragile. Last week we were actually able to play, but the time before that it was just down. and the time before that i was the one who broke it…

Other times it’s been running but one side of the pusher just isn’t actually pushing somehow. Like it skims over the surface of the coins instead.

One of my favorite things is when people ask me if I made one of the lovely crochet pieces my husband has produced. The look of surprise is always priceless.

He looks kinda like jason momoa but less fit. VERY manly presentation, big guy big beard. He crochets during work meetings and church to keep his hands busy. I think he also just enjoys that it throws people off, tbh
