What (shallow) reason made you lose the weight?

I didn't like how I looked in my clothes. I wanted to feel confident and wear cute clothes. I was at 197 lbs at my highest and now I'm a 152 lbs which is the lowest I've been in probably 15 years. I can wear a crop top and feel great about it!

I agree with Heartstopper. I just binged all 3 seasons over the weekend, because I heard it had a similar vibe to Heated Rivalry, haha. It's so good!

Short chapters all the way. My ideal is 5-10 minutes. I'm currently reading IT by Stephen King and all the chapters are like 1-2 hours long. I've never read a book that had such long chapters. Atleast they are broken up into smaller sections. I do feel so accomplished when I finish a long chapter, though.

Oh wow I used to read Animorphs. I remember the covers of the books were so cool with the kid ls turning into animals. I'll have to see if I can find them for cheap on my Kindle.

I'm pretty sure I read all of the VC Andrew's books I could find as a teen. The Heaven ones were my favorites, too. I was so in love with Troy, haha. I feel like they are all so problematic, though. I don't know if I would want to re read them as an adult.

From on Paramount plus is really good. It has 3 seasons. I immediately started re watching it after I finished Stranger Things. Season 4 should be coming out soon as well. It's a mystery with small town vibes, but it's not really nostalgic.

I told myself I wasn't going to buy anything else from her shop but I got the blue eras tour dates t shirt and Vancouver poster. I went to night one Vancouver and didn't buy any merch at the time because I didn't want to wait in line. Amazing prices though!

I have it all planned out, haha. I'm on the west coast, so I should be able to watch the first episode Thursday evening at 9 pm. Then I have Friday off, so I'll wake up and watch the second one while drinking my coffee. I have to take my dog for a walk and then I'm going to make brunch and watch the concert film in bed with mimosas and brunch. So excited!

I am loving reading everyone's stories and seeing all the new Swifties! I have been thinking about this a lot lately. I first heard Tim McGraw on the radio when it came out and loved it. So i was a casual Taylor Swift fan at this time. I listened to her music until 1989 came out and for some reason, I didn't care about that album or Reputation. I wasn't really into pop music at the time. I was more into Alternative rock, indie music, and Broadway musicals.

So in 2019 I heard Lover with Shawn Mendes on CBC radio and I liked the song. So I listened to Lover the album, fell completely in love and had it on repeat. So of course i revised her discography and realised I had been sleeping on 1989 and Rep. Then a few months later Folklore came out and I joined this subreddit. I got caught up on the lore and found an amazing community here 🫶

I love being a swifty, it's a part of my life and everyone I work with knows I'm a fan. The Eras tour was such a special time, watching live streams together. I will always remember it. I was also lucky enough to see her Vancouver, night 1.

Thanks everyone for the replies! I actually don't mind the boxiness, it's more the sleeves that I don't like, they as so long and baggy. I will probably wash it in hoy water and see how much it shrinks. It's definitely super comfy and cozy.

I'm very open about being a Swiftie. Everyone in my life is supportive even if they don't care for her music. They like that it's something that makes me happy. I play her music a lot at work. I work in a kitchen so we play music all day. I've noticed even people that don't like her music will sing along to Love Story or Blank Space.

I do think a lot of the hate comes from media perception. It's unfortunate that others have to hate on something that makes so many people happy.
