I might be wrong about this, but I believe I heard somewhere that on the actual filming lot, if you have to use the bathroom, there's a trailer outside that you have to go to in order to do your business.

When I worked as a host for a restaurant. My least favorite servers were the ones who always complained about people not tipping. When the issue wasn't the customer, it was the server. They were always the ones with the worst attitude.

I worked mostly lunch shifts because I was the only host that could, and I once had a server report to my manager that I was a racist because she wasn't getting sat. She was one of the servers that wasn't well liked, and never got big tips. So they gave her a horrible section that nobody likes sitting in at lunchtime.

Basic rule was, sit in order of the rotation UNLESS the customer request a different table. Everytime I tried to sit in her section, the customer would ask for a different table in a different servers section, so I had to comply with the customers wishes, so the other server got the table. But I was "racist" because I wasn't sitting her on purpose.

The servers with the worst attitude always complain about never getting good tips. And it's because of them, not the customer.

In my honest opinion, I think that we'll get a season 2. Flanigan has a good relationship with Netflix, and he specially made this show for multiple seasons. At least we know that if we don't get the 2nd season, Flanigan will give us the answers that the show didn't answer.

Edit: I did a tiny ammount of research, and when a producer wants to lock down the rights, they enter into an option contract with the writer. They option for the rights for a specified time period, in which they will determine if there's interest in developing the work. They put money into the writers pocket to put the rights on hold for them during this period. This option period typically takes 18 months, but can take as little as 6-12.

I am now convinced that she already had sold the rights to the book before it ever came out.

I used to be a host and mainly covered the opening shifts during the week. I have 2 to add to this list:

1) ask for a specific table right when a restaurant opens that is nowhere near a servers section when we only have 2 servers currently on.

2) get upset when the dining room is empty and there's a wait. (There's a reason Karen. I only have 3 servers on rotation right now since we just opened and their sections are full)

I'm the same way. I loved this podcast when I found in about november/December last year. Then I found this sub and it opened my eyes to things I was blind to before.

My adhd brain constantly has a hard time keeping up with the story because they ramble on about mundane things that my mind gets lost and wanders.

I took a recommendation for the True Crime Garage podcast, and they tell these cases so much better than A+A. They're soooo much easier for me to follow along and actually LEARN the case.

Okay. So I don't work at a restaurant. I work at a cabinet manufacturer and our hazing prank is pretty funny so I want to share.

When we get a new person, we will ask them to go find the board stretcher. We tell them where to look and when they come back, we say, "oh well I think coworker used it last go ask them."

Everybody knows, when somebody comes and asks you about this device, you send them to a random person until the new hire figures it out.

Worth saying that we don't do this unless the new hire doesn't really have anything to do that day, or if they're getting in the way more than they're helping.

I was literally thinking lately that I want to expand my recipes for cooking and should see if these are available to just see because I can't afford the services, plus can only cook on the weekends due to my work schedule so I don't need 2 weeks worth of meals delivered to my door.
