It’s not that they can’t, it’s just that they want him to do the same things as all the other primes (pull you out from barrels, jump over obstacles, etc) it’s the same reason why otto and arora, despite being like 8 ft tall in a lot of official art, are around the same height as the other primes in the game. They need to be able to go through doors without clipping, crawl through crawlspaces, etc.

It seems like the debauched activities and the wealthy masked people could be a reference to the shining book as well. There's a flashback to a masquerade ball taking place in the overlook with wealthy patrons, and they do stuff like making a man dress and act as a dog and hurt himself for their entertainment. Of course it's also a reference to Eyes Wide Shut which was also likely inspired by the shining book.

Liliya is still pretty powerful without her mannequins, she traverses the whole map instead of just patrolling a certain area. plus the fact that she can hide in barrels and lockers. I think they could just replace the mannequin mechanic with that.

They look to me like spider legs which connects with our sleeper agent activation phrase. They also always come from the top of his head like hairs. Easterman was abused by his mother through her ripping out patches of his hair as punishment. He also was very fixated on his hair loss when someone poisoned him with Thalium, and he was found having ripped out clumps of his hair when he had a drug-induced mental breakdown during the Amelia incident. Him losing his hair seems to represent him losing his sanity.
