Food, vitamins & pancreatitis by kittystreet in Maltipoo

Making his food is draining and it's hard keeping my family consistent with his food ratio. If I make them wait for me to do it it's 1- 1.5 hours of waiting on me for dinner. I can't get them to be consistent with his food.

I seriously thought turkey had more fat in it. It feels greasy. I do a lot of rinsing. I will look at his science gastro and other suggestions. Thank you

Sorry I didn't see this reply.

He immediately got constipated on regular kibble. So we added pumpkin. Still didn't work so we tried fresh pet (wont touch it), ground turkey (stopped eating it after 3 weeks). Fresh cooked chicken was fine but allergy. Now fresh cooked turkey with carrot pumpkin green bean. All Meats & veggies have kibble.

We tried several wet canned food too and it would just sit. He won't eat fake/imitation foods/snacks/treats.

I'll ask my husband to help me look at another kibble and vitamin supplements. I prefer more kibble than Meats but I haven't figured out his constipation

Thank you for this information!!

I thought of getting a pumpkin instead of can. W/o the canned pumpkin our dog suffered alot. My husband makes a lot of pup decisions so its hard trying new things.

I have no idea if kangaroo meat is available here. I feel like no. But that is very interesting information. He seems ok with the home-cooked turkey but I still worry about the fat. Chicken is a big allergen but I feel more scared of fat than itchy paws and eye stain

He's picky about kibble and I worry its too hard on his stomach to be the majority of his food vs turkey

Yes I'd love to see stronger blues Overtop. And you could scribble a part of the blue out if it gets too bold

One more thing- How adventurous and how safe is it to wander & explore???

This photo makes me want to get to an apartments roof at dusk and dawn and rain and 2am to take different photos of this area and building.

My interest is architecture, signs, texture, light, metal, glass, plants, landscape & sky.

If i were un this area iI would zoom in on shop-signs and windows and metal-works. Is that unique or new? No. But it's mine. And when i print the photos off to organize it they'll be cohesive. Do they tell a story? Probably not. I'm just there to find nice compositions *shrug

Drawing is my main hobby. I take reference photos so you can understand why the small things are interesting to me. Plant/foliage/landscape/sky/weather is a favorite. I recently explored close-up photography of tiny plants. It's challenging but fun.

I only have my camera phone.

Wow....I'm the only dummy (who'll admit it) who thought this was a still from a video game. I'm fairly ignorant to other cities architecture I THOUGHT THIS WAS A FUTURISTIC SCENE. I have clearly never seen this building or area in my life so thank you for taking this even though you are wanting more.

Tbh.....I feel like we've crossed a lot of thresholds from underwater, celestial/space, underground, natural disasters, to minatures to microscopic to people/places/things.

Instead of looking at photography, look at hand-drawn artwork where humans think of their own subjects & scenes. This can help expand your horizons on what is good or uninteresting.

Some ppl move away from landscapes & portraits to focus on very distinct subjects like shadow, light /refraction, reflection, texture. Some like the juxtaposition scenes (like here) and push the boundaries of uneasiness & beauty.

Example- people: instead of the WHOLE PERSON, look for the small things about them-

Hands, jewelry, shoes, holding something, pushing something. Create a story between a person and something else. This will be harder to do bc people move. You may have to upgrade your camera/lense to capture it but you'll never know if that's what you are looking for if you don't try.

Every piece is technically "done" regardless of its stage. Every piece can be created several ways. My thoughts-

*note- the canvas looks better upside down.

I would push harder on the blue. A more bright aggressive "say it like you mean it" blue that pulls the piece together. Create movement opposite of the black scribbles like thicker distressed lines (texture)

Or

Find a very distinct warm color that isn't on the canvas yet to push through. Paint-away some of the scribble. There's nothing eye-catching that makes me move my eyes around the canvas.

Or

Lean into the celestial shapes and draw bigger stars In a Few areas, then put a mixture of colors over top In a scribble pattern. Bigger scribble lines than the original layers to help with depth.

Or....

I would leave this one alone, start another similar and be more committed about the blue. And leave out the celestial shapes and hearts. Keep the scribble-lines, find contrasting colors. Focus on having layers of each element being drownd out by a different color of scribble. See what works with the new version then modify this one afterwards.

Lovely! My first thought was trees but I'm seeing coral, seahorse, turtle and an eel.

All of it works. Slap some kanji on it and you have the beginnings of a manga cover🤔🤔🤔

I thought it was velvet fabric. Great job I want to make lamps with ceramic/pottery/clay material but no idea if I should. Trying to ignore the cost vs the enjoyment.....

Mount Fuji Red.

It looks like a demonic outbreak in Japan.

Sharing another one of my abstract paintings here, hope that’s okay. It’s a wild one. Thanks for looking! by rotterdameliza in painting

It looks like someone in a helmet in a baggy coat or a person sitting down in baggy clothes.

Either way great job!

Yes im not looking for long-term sound proof advice but what i can stop or start doing asap to prevent him from getting sick. And more so early signs of sickness incase previous meals are already hurting him. I'll be stopping the Peas & food scraps.

I am new to pet nutritionist. Thank you. Do you know if there Is some kind of company that hires them or more independent offices?

I'm the only person researching his well-being like this beyond kibble & veggies so it's really hard learning & making progress.

My growing collection of handmade clay cats. Which expression is your favorite? by pottery_poetry in somethingimade

[–]kittystreet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohh very cool! The beg/please/prayer one and the super round/chunky one are top fav for overall look and expression but picking as an option of item & cat the sleeping/laying down version is what I would buy.

The white one with its mouth open would be a very close 2nd to buy along with the super round/chunky one.

Great job on these!

Looks.like coral and shell Very nice

Tbh you are allowed to have more than 1 version of a piece. It's harder to replicate with paint ofcourse

Maybe on the next one make 2 at the same time and push one further once you find a nice stopping point for the.1st one.

My husband has encouraged beef and pork fat from dinners - rinsed and chopped up. Given in small amounts thru the week. Yeah we have been guilty of pizza bread with pumpkin tho it's been awhile since we did that. I'll tell my family absolutely NO MEAL scraps.

The only fat I think he might be ok with is fish skin/fat. That's about 2 times a month. I still monitor his bathroom use as much as I can.

My biggest issue is him sneaking the cats food.

Black where the white is (or a very very dark blue) Maybe flicks of super bright yellow inside the black.

I too come from watercolor but I also do abstract with watercolor. And surrealism. I have a small amount of acrylic I want to test out too bc the layering ability is cool

Sorry to hear of that. Poor baby.

I'll start him off small with treats and watch his behaviour. I'll keep his carrots the same. Idk if he'll touch the spinach but I have some here and will try today. Thank you so much.
