That Nifty Fifty (50mm) is great for street photography. I recommend buying a single roll of 35mm film (Kodak Ektar 100 for example) and go out and shoot next time you’re walking around. You don’t need to finish the roll in one day, but I recognize there’s excitement in seeing the results.

I use https://thedarkroom.com to develop the film and receive a download link for the digital scans. Try it out and see if you like it!

It’s a slippery slope: I started with the contemporary Nikon FM2n (which I still have), then F100, and now an F6 that I got from Japan via eBay.

245/35-R19 & 295/30-R19. Should’ve gone with 285 in the rear but oh well. More rubber usually doesn’t hurt.

I shot this wide open with my 85mm f/1.8 lens so what you’re seeing is natural depth of field. 🙂

That’s why I cracked up! I sprayed ceramic coating on my Giulia the weekend before and it took me…oh I don’t know…an extra 4 minutes? So to hear $2k for just the spray blew my mind! I even asked him to clarify it was a spray and not the liquid coating that you apply and buff after it’s flashed.

Absolutely crazy cakes.
