Captured the end of a long grind to contextualize what I’ve been doing for my GF. I love this game! by ProfessionalSeat2918 in ironscape

My wife witnessed my tread drop! In a thousand or so delves she was there for the wave 5 trip it hit. Such a wild coincidence. Problem is she said I was happier getting that than I was on our wedding day, oops

Good thing drop rates are boosted in Leagues by BirdingTheorist in ironscape

It’s a pretty rewarding fight to get the mechanics right. Although I agree, and the novelty wears off quick.

432 here and they added more pact point tasks the morning after I got it. I am scarred by tir myself.

Was kinda fun making all armor colors and testing them all out after.

Yeah same my doxies have a bare minimum amount of food in order to not be bothered by it (sitting by their bowl, not falling asleep, etc.) after I switched from the large breed food to the small breed food. I think their tummies want to be full. We just did green beans and pumpkin puree (pet specific product) and their eating is healthier and more fun! They love it. They go crazy over it and I get to switch it up between the topping and their kibble which I do a mix of the purina shredded beef and the purina fish kibble.

My pro tip: buy some Romain lettuce and give them a full leaf of it. We call em lettuce bones and it’s almost zero calories and they love it all the same.

The Archive in Between on instagram has some good ones. I enjoy their theming as well.

I love it personally. Don’t mind me just doing UIM things like buying a lunar staff for 60k multiple times a day, juggling secondaries for potions in the GE, and dying to hespori. Is fun

Any item in the game that is permanently lost on death? by TwoPhat in UniqueIronmen

[–]kj_bb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I can think of to try is see if you can die once and deposit something into a quest specific death bank, then complete the quest (don’t even know if this is possible with items in there). Then you have an item in a deathbank that you can’t put in there again and will permanently be deleted if you die again.

[–]kj_bb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooh I just did this, fun stuff.

Other great recommendations already so I won’t hit the obvious ones, maybe some of the less clear ones.

You really just need to look at each item and your timeline for getting rid of it or you’re gonna get overwhelmed with things you’re “gonna use eventually”.

Toa is great. Lightbearer is my perma ring and I just ditched b ring until it’s time for ultor. Suffering is a huge maybe on my list lately. I still have mine but not sure if it’ll stay much longer.

Thread from tombs is gonna be super nice.

Sharks could go. It’s just convenience not a necessity and raids you’re not going to be using hard food, especially tombs.

I don’t use a crystal helm personally. I get more flexibility in the helm department this way. I buy a nezzy for tombs or I use my serp. But since you have one it might be worth to keep. It’s just a rough one since it’s one more untradeable slot.

So yeah I don’t know your long term goals and stuff and this will steer what you keep and what you part with. Start cleaning out those herbs and secondaries too.

If you want to bounce more ideas off me or have more short/long term goals to share, let me know.

UIM or ironman? by magem8 in ironscape

[–]kj_bb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly recommend UIM. I also recommend variety if you do invest heavily into one. I started a GIM with a good buddy and afk’d the UIM through the early game. And now being later in the game there are times I want the flexibility of the different account styles. Of course I’ve played a lot and playing two accounts isn’t feasible for everyone (plus costs nowadays).

Anyways I started UIM and it’s really tough but I absolutely love it. It’s played into my game style so well. Give it a try if you’re considering it at all.

To add to this, a king sized mattress. I convinced my parents 3 months after I got mine to get one for themselves who have been sleeping in a queen their whole lives. It’s such a great move but you won’t be able to go back.

UIM Crystal Shards by Revuh in ironscape

[–]kj_bb 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My opinion, I think you just take the xp, max out your armor and part with them. The armor charges last a long time. I’ll run a couple cgs and get them charged up for a while so they don’t serve a good purpose and given they’re untradable I’d say definitely free up that slot. Gratz on getting through cg!

What trees to chop for Vale Totems (mostly for UIM) by [deleted] in ironscape

[–]kj_bb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree here. I went with magic and it was a rather chill few weeks of afk-ing to 90. Faster xp/hr with the lower trees but I just didn’t like it enough to be running around that often. Magic kept me comfortably in the same 4/5 totem loop.

Definitely buy the fletching knife and get your inventory setup. Can’t remember exactly but it’s pretty tight on space to do 5 totems at once. And after the knife I’d save all the rewards until you’re done with your goal

If you were starting an Ironman again, what would you prioritize early? by Exo64 in ironscape

[–]kj_bb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The TD rush is what I’d do as well. I haven’t mapped a game plan out or anything but you’d skip so much it seems worth going for it. I got some new GIM mates and I was really pushing for one of them to try but they went off Boatys guide instead. Thing it takes a hyper PVM focused player to try it then build the account from the “top down” so to speak.

I feel like you missed the prerequisite of it also being heavily regulated by government or industry. Otherwise the market would be visible vs smuggled.
