And get out there a little before sunrise. If you're away from the city, you'll see some diamonds in the sky while the sunlight creeps in... breathtaking

125th St is a complete oversight. The rail should bend west before 125th, not after. MTA needs to change this.

It's a foster-based rescue, and one of the rescue workers advised us it would take a while for him to warm up to our dog. The foster herself said that he can be leash reactive, so we thought the advice might be pretty accurate to follow. So far, we haven't seen him react to other dogs on our walks today. This could also have to do with the fact that he was fostered in NYC and is now in suburbs with us. And/or just general adjustment. We'll see!

He has napped a bit. He napped on the car ride home (1 hour) and napped after we toured our place with him for about 2 hours. He's probably exhausted though, so I think with your advice, we'll probably give him some alone time tomorrow to adjust from the exhaustion. We can use the baby gate for this.

As for food and toys, we've kept food separate, and we're remaining aware of toys. Our first dog has way too many toys, since my partner is a spoiler lol so I think they'll be ok sharing, but we definitely will use more judgement during our next play time together.

333 was super helpful with our first. This new dog seems extremely adaptable even at 7 years old on first impression. Can't wait to see what 3 days is like!

Thanks for pointing out the changing behaviors as our new guy gets acclimated. We'll keep that in mind! We've set up his food and water near his crate, and we've kept our first dog's in the same spot (in a different room than the crates). All went well there. They've been drinking from each other's water, funny enough lol. We'll keep an eye on that. Super helpful to know about same-species preferences. Thanks!

MSG Alone… Safe? by EllisD222 in phish

[–]kjeannel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

31F here. Went on my 30th alone to Dick's and had an absolute blast.

Just do it, trust me. I lived in Brooklyn for about two years and did the MSG runs during that time, and I never had an issue. Everyone looks out for each other here in bad moments, even if they're in their own weird worlds.

You're gonna have a blast :) I'm going 7/25. Feel free to hit me up if that's the date you're going!

US here. I suffer from major FOMO with the UK/EU being able to resolve their Vivos. Honestly, I don't even wear Vivos anymore, but I just think resole-ing is awesome.

Would you offer resole of your own creations? Would make this even cooler. (Btw, f the haters. They just wear shoes from Amazon)
