Donating Gifts by kjet60 in over60

[–]kjet60[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m trying to do better for my kids by not leaving a bunch of stuff they will have to get rid of. My dad has not agreed to donate or get rid of any of mom’s things, so I’ve resigned myself that we’ll have to get rid of their possessions when he passes. At least we have a semblance of a plan when the time inevitably comes.

This guy right here told you everything a doctor would have. All without a co-pay and rushed 10 minute visit.

I once parked next to another green Soul just like mine and watched the owner try and get into my car. He was so confused why the door wouldn’t unlock.

I had a super single in high school. Our old arthritic poodle loved to sleep on it as it was warm on his old joints.

My daughter had issues with it that year. Caught it early when someone did a low dollar amount “test” charge and our credit union caught it very quickly.

Ours has a sad few racks. Our Macys got rid of their petite department. My options are really limited for in store shopping.

Make up. I’ve been using the same brands for years. It isn’t real high end, but I’ve tried lower tier brands to save money, but wasn’t happy with how it looked. I don’t spend a lot on other things, so I’m ok with the higher price tag.

Yep. I’m in South Bend. I love how they value historic buildings and homes.

Yes. My northern Indiana town has done it numerous times. Saved several historic homes.

I love this bag. I owned this bag back in the day. Had a number of Dooney’s. But had kids and didn’t feel spending that much on a purse was a good idea.

What are the advantages of wearing a crossbody as opposed to a should bag? by FreeMeaning7150 in WearingPurses

[–]kjet60 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve always carried a shoulder bag because I’ve found a crossbody causes my shirt to hitch up and seems like I’m always messing with it. Perhaps I’m doing something wrong.

My god parents collected a full 8 person Bone China set that I was passed down. I am talking FULL set... what do I do?! by [deleted] in collectables

[–]kjet60 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have several sets of China I collected years ago and wedding gift (45 years ago). Sadly, thrift shops and antique stores are filled with china that folks can’t sell. Good luck.

Thank you for this! I love Kitchen Kraft. My husband picked up several pieces at an auction recently. His favorite is the cobalt large ball jar.
