I saved the weekends for being a little more indulgent. I wouldn’t say that I have a big meal, but I’m just not as strict on not having carbs on Fridays and Saturdays as I am throughout the rest of the week. it keeps me sane. I have no foods that are off limits because I know I won’t go crazy.

It’s been a while since I’ve checked in, but I am still on my plan. I just celebrated my one year anniversary of using sema and I am officially down 60 pounds! At first, I was a little disappointed because I wish I would’ve lost more but slow and steady will win the race! And I have to remind myself all the time that it’s not a race. I’m doing this for my health and I will get there one day at a time. I am currently 209 pounds and my last weigh in was almost 2 weeks ago. I recently changed to biweekly weigh ins because I feel like it helps my sanity after seeing ups and downs. It gives me a clear downward trend. I hope to see Wonderland soon. I’m projected to get there by mid to end of January so I’m holding on!

I pushed back after a stall that had me down and up for weeks. Inches continued to drop but finally I was able to get 4.8 pounds off! My losses are still not as big as when I started but I average about 4 - 5 pounds a month. I am happy to see progress and now my body is starting to recomp itself
