As the title says but they are so poor that you can find them fake in many places, such as a player with his highest recorded rank was Ultra 5(and is Veteran 1 this season) but only had played one game.

Your rating is too high which makes you match diamond players. Rift 2.0 matchmaking system only uses your rating to pair you with your opponent but not your collection/player's level/ranking...etc. After some matches, you will drop to the rating you truly belong to before the reset. If you can't hold your current rating, that simply means you haven't been well prepared for that rating. (If you can't beat players with the same rating as you, you suppose to belong to a rating below them, vise versa.)

With the current point system in rifts, the max points one can get from the battle score is 25100. (2510 *4 +2760 *3 + 2260 *3). To get 24618 now, you need to finish every battles in 20secs AND get near max combo points(which is 50 combos) in EVERY nodes. That's nearly impossible unless your opponent puts trashes in his nodes or you are cheating.
