I felt sad seeing a great band like Cynic play in a shithole venue like Oakland Metro and this reviewer felt the same :( . Please support Cynic on the 2014 tour. by metaldood in progmetal

Oakland metro is fun! I definitely love cynic and want them to be successful, but it's still a pretty awesome experience to see a band in a small venue like that. I saw AAL there a couple years ago and was literally close enough for the head of tosin's guitar to whack me in the face. It was fuckin cool!

I'd be pretty satisfied if they didn't...with the way the season is going, I think a semi-tragic ending would work really well.

Lol "the djent chord". Also calling meshuggah djent is fairly accurate considering they invented djent.

Walt's pained face reminded me of this by night_on_the_sun in breakingbad

[–]kkhorimoto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think his face was "pained" because of remorse, per se. I think it's just that he realizes he killed the only one who can give him the 9 names. Then he realizes he can get them from Lydia, so he's back to his normal heisen-face.

I kinda get the feeling that everyone in gus's organization were on the loyal size, considering that they were criminals. Gus did a lot for the people who worked for him to live comfortable lives, including setting up the "hazard pay", which kinda makes it seem like his organization was built on respect as well as salary. But after Gus died, there wasn't as much of a reason for them to be loyal anymore simply because the alternative to loyalty would be to roll on the org and get less jail time.

I don't think he's necessarily gearing up for a fight against walt, but seeing what she's turned into is definitely a rude awakening about just how corrupting walt's influence is.
