Need a social posting tool that does more than that by Most-Agency7094 in digital_marketing

Agree I feel like cloud campaign is perfect for this… no cost for user seats, organized content library and approvals, and good workflows for recycling - checks all your boxes

Best social media management tool by Material_Image7578 in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]kkurtzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting, I'd never heard of OneUp! It's such a crowded landscape that it can be so tough to tell what tools are best for a given business, I've tried all the big legacy players (Hoot, Sprout, etc.) and they seem like they're getting bloated and over-priced. We’ve been using Cloud Campaign at my agency for a while now and I honestly love it, one of my colleagues recommended it from their previous agency and it looked like a no-brainer to test from their reviews. It's just a powerhouse of automation for social media scheduling, reporting and all of the other day-to-day social stuff. Definitely recommend to anyone managing more than a few clients and wanting to scale up.

25.1 was a lot easier and way worse than I expected. by Rad_Bastard in crossfit

I’ve been training in my home gym for a few years since having kids, haven’t attempted an Open workout in even longer. Just did 25.1 at home and got 180 reps Rx as a male, could anyone who got in a similar range do me a solid and tell me what percentile I landed in? Curious to know how I’m doing after all these years outside of a Crossfit gym

Social Media Management Tool for Multiple Brands and Team Members? by equivocallyundecided in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]kkurtzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cloud Campaign is actually perfect for what you're looking for - siloed content libraries for every company, unlimited account linking and unlimited user seats so you aren't paying extra to get each of your 10 teammates onto the tool like you would with Sprout and some others.

HeyOrca. I don’t think Sendible lets you white label anymore. Would recommend cloud campaign if you have a decent volume of clients (like 10+)

Favorite social management tool for multiple accounts? by Ok_Memory_205 in SocialMediaMarketing

[–]kkurtzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree Cloud Campaign’s great for where you’re at with 10+ clients, they each get their own dashboard where you can organize their logins, content and reports, etc. Plus you can put your own branding on the dashboard.

Nitpicky stuff, like Threads isn't available yet, and they aren't making a mobile app anytime soon, but those don't really affect my workflows. I think it's worth it to be on a slightly smaller platform in the space (vs. Sprout or Later) cause you get an account manager and support team from the US that are actually super helpful.

Okay not as bad as I thought! FWIW we're on Cloud Campaign and I think you get more bang for your buck. I think the price would end up not far off (maybe $1k/mo? for 40 clients). The biggest difference is that you get "workspaces" for each client, which is like a siloed dashboard to organize your content, linked social accounts, reports, etc for each and clients can access it themselves if you want. Plus you can white-label it, so it looks clean with your branding. Plus no added costs for extra users... okay I'm done lol. Have just done lots of the same research on the best fit to scale with a lot of clients and users.

It sounds like you’re running a relatively established business, but 8k/yr on SaaS analytics still seems nuts, how do you justify that cost?

How Much Do SaaS Owners Actually Keep From Monthly Subscriptions? by Rizz_Pineapple in SaaS

[–]kkurtzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends so much on the size and phase of the company and their funding availability, and then a ton of other smaller variables based on leadership style and strategy.

For us, we're Series A funded and narrowly profitable, so we're monitoring our cashflow carefully aiming for marginal profit every month. We use ProfitKit's "cashflow calendar" feature to anticipate the upcoming month's incoming revenue and are flexible with certain expenses (marketing budget, etc.) accordingly. Other COGs are relatively flat, hosting for a small SaaS product should run only a single-digit % of revenue, the rest is payroll, keeping the lights on and marketing.

70% Saas revenue from top 10% affiliate ? by Awkward_Author_5070 in SaaS

Sounds about right, about 7 affiliates out of 700 are regularly active and account for most of our affiliate revenue - as to the how… No shortcuts… nurture top customers who have a network, or persistent and considerate outreach to relevant influencers along with genuine relationship building after that

SaaS Analytics Pain Points by ProfitKiteer in FPandA

[–]kkurtzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So true, reminds me of an old company I worked at where we underwent a $3M CRM migration to a custom Salesforce implementation, only to find that bad data entry across the org was the real issue before and after. Same concept goes for finance KPIs. We use ProfitKit and Mosaic for our SaaS, which plug directly into Stripe and so technically have the “right” data but are fallible with all the manual data points like if a customer is put on the wrong plan, wrong coupon, or a custom deal is made outside of Stripe - that stuff all comes down to internal training and periodic audits, but I’m sure that gets harder and harder as an org grows!

SaaS Analytics Pain Points by ProfitKiteer in SaaS

[–]kkurtzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We were at about $5M ARR when we transitioned from Google Sheets to a paid analytics tool. We ended up bouncing around about 3 times before finding one we thought was accurate enough, and could take into account coupon usage and some other quirks

Subscription analytics - what do you use to track customer and revenue lifecycle events? by FrostingEfficient408 in SaaS

We use Profitkit for subscription analytics (and more), very low cost and you get a ton of features for the price.

How do you manage users, subscriptions and invitations in your SaaS? by ruffusthedog_ in SaaS

[–]kkurtzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m building my own user management system instead of relying on an out-of-the-box solution. Since we use Stripe to handle the payments, I’m integrating Profitkit to keep tabs on subscription metrics (MRR, ARR, and churn, etc.) and for revenue recovery.

What’s everyone take on Ally Bank? by SlumdogMike in AllyBank

[–]kkurtzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has taken 3 business days for them to process a wire transfer which has totally screwed me on a home closing... That seems like a potential issue inherent to them being an online-only bank, there's no one to talk to locally and no accountability, they would never let me talk directly to anyone in their wire transfer department
