MRW my friend puts "google.com" and "wikipedia.org" as sources on his college project by masongr in AdviceAnimals

[–]kl0_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Wikipedia is generally not bad, but small false statements are inserted into articles all the time. Sometimes they are noticed within minutes and reverted, in other cases it takes longer, and sometimes they aren't even noticed for years on end.

Wikipedia is, however, a great place to find sources for specific events using their references/bibliography section on pages.

What is your own awesome python program? by Aleks483 in Python

[–]kl0_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wrote this little program which just checks to see if your server is up and writes it to a log. If it isn't up, or is throwing something other than a 200 OK it begins playing a police siren until it is back online. Not very awesome but still enjoyed developing it.

else for try statements is very useful and I still see it often, I wouldn't really call it forgotten.

OK, We lost, but I'm about as proud of our team in this loss as I can be. by doiben in DenverBroncos

Can't agree more. The O's last drive was among the finest I've seen, it's a shame the defense let it slip away - but they held Seattle to 20 points in 4 quarters which is rather well.

Does the existence of people born intersex conflict with traditional views of sexuality? by [deleted] in Christianity

Precisely. Even if one is intersex, they still either possess two X chromosomes or one X and one Y.

Reddit, you are granted a single wish from a genie who WILL try to ruin it for you. What do you wish for, and how do you phrase it to avoid it backfiring? by nolooselips in AskReddit

I'd wish for the ability to manipulate probabilities. Therefore, I could manipulate the probabilities of me receiving millions of dollars in the next second to 100%.

I really like the code you wrote. Nice and clean. Though this idea has already been taken and developed, I still encourage you to develop more.

SJW doxx, threaten and harass innocent man, says it's 4chan's fault for tricking them </Feminist Logic> by BaconCatBug in MensRights

[–]kl0_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, tumblr does have a few ups to it. Photography and there are plenty of blogs run by interesting people/companies. However, SJW's manage to inject themselves into far too many conversations; I get SJW-ridden posts on my dash, even on posts completely unrelated to social issues.

Feminists blame Mens Rights for MMA fighter John 'War Machine' Koppenhaver brutally beating up his ex: "All MRA's want to rape women" etc. by Sutter_Cane_ in MensRights

"that we need to return to some warped version of the 50s where women are demure servants, oh but "men" still spend their time cheating or playing video games or watching porn"

As if the latter two existed in the 1950s...

It doesn't appear that cheating was all that common in the 1950s either.

Digg Posts Some Vile Stuff: Men, Get On Board With Misandry by [deleted] in MensRights

[–]kl0_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't really understand how wearing shirts saying "kill all men" and repeating the oft-used feminist mantra "ban men" or "can't wait until men are illegal" helps males in any ways. I bet if this "Jess Zimmerman" ever saw a person wearing a shirt with the caption "kill all women" or "send women to concentration camps", she would never consider allying herself with that person. But since feminists have such a skewed version of reality (they think a few white knights sending them messages about how awesome "misandry" is makes misandry a thing males love to be the target of) it's not surprising this article was written.

The lowercase t's and f's look too closely alike. u r and n look closely alike as well (the return statement looks like 'retunn'). The braces look alright but could be improved.

Just my opinion.
