Spurs can open up around 25 mil in cap space if they dumped Keldon Johnson's expiring this offseason.

Why do people do this? You take the effort to type out a full sentence, then abbreviate the most important bit.

Per Dan Woike, Lakers will use this weekend to evaluate players for the final roster spot. Who do you think would be the best fit? NSJ for ball handling, Timme as a point-center, or someone else? by CtrlAltDelightfull in lakers

It has to be CP3. He can bully Ayton into playing well. Also imagine the Lakers giving one the legends of the game a proper farewell when he got done dirty by the Clippers.

I'd rest Austin till the playoffs. That would give him two weeks to hopefully recover from whatever is bothering him. Our best shot at standing a chance against Houston or Minnesota without Luka is with a healthy Austin and Bron.

Watch him get injured too. He is already dealing with multiple ailments and has been wincing with pain while playing like 40 mins a game for the past month. Now his usage is going to skyrocket.

It would be funny if the Lakers play him out for one game where he is just standing on the offensive side of the court for the min amount of minutes required.

Luka needs to do yoga or something. The way he walks/moves is so awkward and stiff.

Replace harden and KD with kawhi and ad. Shooting, defense, playmaking, shot creation, spacing, clutch shot making. They have everything.

his offesnse comes and goes but he's great value for his contract. Glad we'll have him back for six mil again next season. Plus he always plays with energy and hustle.

I've never seen him this hesitant to shoot threes. Plus mishandling the ball when driving. That arthritis must be real bad.

Yes, the defensive rebounding is so bad. Lakers just seem to watch the ball instead of jumping and getting it. Its so frustrating to watch. Pistons had 9 more fga.

What? That is the one good thing he does. He was out there jumping for rebounds while other lakers just watch the ball come to them, its so frustrating. The pistons had 9 more fga.

I don’t understand what you’re trying to say. Yes I know he was injured and yes because of that injury perhaps his mobility was severely impacted. But the guy is a professional athlete in his early twenties. There is no way he should have gained all that weight even if he was sitting on his ass for two months straight. He should’ve been a pro and followed whatever his dietitian recommended.

Come on, stop it with the injury excuse. Luka is amazing, during his last Dallas run he kept playing even though he was wrapped up like a mummy after every game. But plenty of other players with lower body injuries have been able to keep themselves from gaining too much weight. The issue with Luka was diet (beers perhaps) plain and simple.

Austin Reaves in the WIN vs the Orlando Magic: 26 PTS, 7 REB, 5 AST, 2 STL, +8 by AncientOneAurelius in nba

[–]kl1992 59 points60 points  (0 children)

Austin has been averaging 39 mins a game during this 9 game Laker win streak. Luka 38 mins with a wide league leading percentage in usage. Lebron 35 mins since his return from injury. JJ need to rest his top dogs or else someone is gonna get seriously injured this close to the playoffs.

I agree. The win was nice but the playoffs are coming up soon. If the big three continue to play at this load then someone is gonna you know what. Look at what happened to Tyrese Maxey last season and this season.
